At least if they said the Renault Twingo III looked like the 500 (because it really does), but no... What the C3 does sort of look like is the Peugeot 208 from which it was developped, they pretty much have the same A pillars, roof line and similar glasshouses.

Shouldn’t be, it’s heavily based on the Peugeot 208 which ought to be all but profit by now.

The C4 Cactus is on the same platform and has been called the most comfortable offering in the segment. Citroën are masters at making cars that are very supple but not boaty like old Caddies.

Nah, the partnership with Mitsubishi is over. It yielded the Citroën C-Zero and Peugeot iOn (badge-engineered iMiev), C4 Aircross/4008 (ASX) and C-Crosser/4007 (Outlander). They’ll build the last of he first four offerings and then that’s that.

PF1 platform from the Peugeot 208, so not very young put proven and pretty good. Should be fairly light as well, under a ton for the low-end models. Engines will be the 1.2L three-cylinder turbo PureTech with 62, 82 or 110 horses and the 1.6 four-cylinder turbodiesel BlueHDi with 75 or 100hp. 5-speed manual or 6-speed

Stuff like that exists for catching the last few seconds of a cool thing you did in an online game and sharing it online. Basically it always has the last 30 seconds stored but nothing more, it records new footage and deletes the old as it goes along. If something happens (like a big shock), the process is halted and

Yeah they’re all on the old PF1 platform. But so is the Peugeot 208 and that handles well. In fact this new C3 is extremely close to the 208, compare the side profiles and A pillars.

Renault is the one allied to Nissan.

Here small size is a requirement, not a nicety. In many European cities parking is already close to impossible as it is.

It’s a Citroën, it will not have a sports-tuned suspension at all, no worries there.

I think the new C3 is exactly what they ought to be doing, in fact. It’s right in the sweet spot, original but not as weird as the Cactus. I hope it sells!

Vat? Ze naming scheme is perfectly logical und organized!

Ok fair point. But that was one model!

No no, that’s the 3 series GT, a 5-door version of a 4-door car (not to be confused with the 3 series Touring, another 5-door version of the same 4-door car). The one you were thinking of is the 4 series Gran Coupé, a 4-door version of a 2-door version of a 4-door.

Citroën of the 2000s maybe. You’re saying the 5 series GT is the heir of the big Citroëns of yesteryear, well those had well-made interiors that were anything but plain.

Despite everything that’s happened, Citroën has too much pride to outsource their flagship car to zee Germans. This is the company that developped a suspension system so comfortable Rolls-Royce decided not to bother developping their own and licensed Citroën’s system. When it was already 10 years old.

They’re not rare in France either, but then again even if only a handful had been sold you’d notice each one. But overall it’s not bringing that much of a fight to the Renault Capturs of this world. It’s selling alright, but nowhere close to what Citroën expected - indeed that’s why they lowered their sales

Uh uh. Stock?

Ugh. The worst part is I know you’re right.

They had a 5% share, hardly counts.
