When gigantic TURBO lettering instantly made anything better. TURBO!!!

It is that bad. I hate it. And I hate you for comparing the DS to it, Torchinsky. How dare you.

Come on, the Juke sold well! It created an entire segment all by itself. I love the C4 Cactus myself, but haven’t met anyone else who did. Everyone I talk who isn’t a car person straight up hates how it looks. I think people find it creepy-weird and not cute-weird. I don’t really understand.

Same platform, but longer wheelbase I think.

The DS 5LS is a much smaller car, this C6 is more than 5m long.

This is a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. It’s one of the most famous and successful Rolls-Royces. It has an hydropneumatic suspension system that was praised for its comfort. That system was not developped by Rolls-Royce.

Yes and no... The C4 Cactus is what Citroëns will be like for most markets (bit toned down on the Airbump front because most customers seem to hate it though). This C6 is meant a/ only for China, where this is the kind of car people want and noone cares about weird old Citroëns and b/ to appease their partner

Interior is an interesting spin on the C4 Cactus’. That interior was meant for a small quirky crossover, but the suitcase design cues do work well on a big sedan like this.

Yeah, my brother was among the last who could buy a 125cc with his normal car license, no extra tests or anything, because he got his license right before the law changed or something like that.

My guess is they cash in on old people that are too afraid to pass their driving test. Because it would probably cost them less to pay for the driving lessons and test (it is very expensive in France, several thousands) and buy a cheap used Clio. They’d be considerably safer in that, but they’d rather pay more for the

Your driving licenses are easy to get though. In France you have to sit a theoretical exam on road laws first, then you need to do an average of 25 hours of driving lessons or thereabouts, then you get to sit the actual 1-hour driving exam, and plenty of people fail. I failed twice before I got it. Additionnaly, if

Yeah, but you shouldn’t really be allowed to drive at all if you’ve lost your license for drinking.

I think there are two small tests at school (ASSR) and then a proper test depending on the displacement, for which I guess you might need the code first? I’m not entirely sure because I never passed these myself and it has changed since I was in school.

They just copy common sportscar or premium supermini design tropes so the people who drive these don’t feel too humiliated. Some others whose names I can’t be bothered to look up but which I see often on the street are blatant copies of the Citroën DS3, Range Rover Evoque and Mini.

What annoys me greatly is that in France you need about three different tests to drive a moped, but you don’t need anything for these. It doesn’t make any sense.

In case you’re wondering, yes, it’s the same Aixam that made the Mega Track.

It was made by that dude who runs SM World in California, I think. He showed up on the Jay Leno’s Garage when Jay talks about his SM (not sure if it’s still online though).

Oh! Well that’ll teach me to read. Mh, a GTi, a Pallas and a Prestige? 30k€ doesn’t seem so ridiculous.

It’d be a bargain if it were a long wheelbase Prestige previously owned by Jacques Chirac, but this...

The Ford IS ten years newer than the Citroën! The Citroën CX was new in 1974, of course it looked a bit dated by 1983, it was almost 10 years old by then ! When it came out the comparable Ford model was the Cortina, not the Sierra.
