I don’t have the figures right now, but the Giulietta didn’t actually sell too poorly overall. Something like 300,000 units so far which is like 100,000 shy of Alfa’s best-selling model of all time, the 147.

They will offer some kind of ride-sharing service, not “sell taxis”, and they didn’t say they would necessarily do it under their own name.
What??? Yellow C-Élysée? Is this a factory colour? It’s awesome!
And a very expensive one too.
I don’t see why. They’re very different cars that won’t appeal to the same people. The Alpine will be a Porsche Cayman/Alfa Romeo 4C/Audi TT RS competitor, which the GT-R isn’t.
They’re not announcing anything more than that. They said sellings cars in NA is step 3 of a ten year plan, so there’s no reason to expect Citroëns on American streets anytime soon.
I didn’t read that much about the CT6, but what makes it not a worthy competitor to the S-Class or, to aim a bit lower, A8 or XJ?
Ah, so the good engine is not available with the phase 2 ? That’s a shame, I really prefer the looks of the later cars... But I love the wheels on yours. And still one of the prettiest hips of any Peugeot thanks to Pininfarina. If i were to get one I would go straight for the yellow, it’s fantastic.
Whaaat, you have a 306 cab too? Awesome! Still a freaking gorgeous car. What colour is it? I don’t even know what engines you could get in these, anything nice?
You could import one!
How crazy would you have to be to import a Venturi in the States???
Alpine is Renault.
Yeah, it’s easier to convince people to give your cars a go if they only have to rent them for half a day. But they’ll need plenty of people to use their ride-sharing service for public perception of their brands to change. It’s really a shame how much genuinely good brands can be negatively affected by decades-old…
Opel is indeed very boring.
Is a video review of the real thing non vapourware enough for you ? ;)
It’s the other way around. PSA assembled the BlueSummer for Bolloré in their Rennes plant. That made it simple to turn the BlueSummer into the e-Méhari because it stayed on the same assembly line, and the BlueSummer is now dead. Bolloré still makes the batteries, though.
Exactly, and they will have had the time to take American customers into account while designing that next generation of cars.
1. Study what Fiat has done.
You said it all better than I could have.
