It’s because no one has ever seen an actual Cobra.
It’s because no one has ever seen an actual Cobra.
A Mustang in Europe carries the “I would do anything to get noticed” stigm. It stands out, a lot. And it’s HUGE.
If I had this car, I would look at it everytime I parked, and I would be sad because it’s not the fastback. Other than that, first gen Mustangs are cool.
That Lexus is probably a great car, but it’s just not very good-looking. Original Corvette? Meh. It was created to emulate small European roadsters, except it was bigger in every respect, therefore completely missing the point of the small roadster. Convertible Stingray is awesome. Bel Air and Camaro I couldn’t care…
Tons of people hate it. “Hurr durr, it can’t corner, it’s only good for straight line speed, it’s antiquated, it’s a truck underneath, European cars have had independent rear suspension for decades...”
It’s not the prettiest Alfa.
Not bad but not particularly exciting. I actually find myself hoping the (inevitable) larger Bentley SUV will look a little more like the EXP-9F.
Of course Simona’s had bratwurst before, they’re from Germany.
How dare you. The Previa is mid-engined. Mid-engined I tell you. It is perfect.
This is a bit of a US-centric argument. The NSX will be sold as a Honda everywhere in the world but the US and Canada, because that’s what it is: a Honda. I think as a halo car for that brand, it could actually work. Honda has the cool products to back it up: Civic Type R, S600...
I say NP, because good luck selling an E34 M5 for as much money as this Alpina will fetch 15 years from now.
Here’s a C4 Cactus commercial, for you.
Mh, interesting. But surely there must be small crossovers with a lip, right?
Just out of curiosity, how do you think one gains access to the rear storage area in a crossover?
SUVs/crossovers were nowhere near as big in the 1990’s as they are now. It’s not too late for Alfa (or for anyone) to get a piece of the action.
In person, and in black, it’s amazing. Amazing. It’s quite small, and as Andrew said, it’s all about the proportions, and they are perfect. It looks absolutely nothing like the Cayenne in that respect.
Ooooooh!
