Haha yeah thank you, I kinda worked that out from the other article, what I was trying to ascertain are there other bottlenecks like say when downloading software updates etc.

At what speeds do you actually download files etc? My Speedtest download is around 16Mb/s and files DL at around 2MB/s, yours around 125MB/s?
I was thinking the same, I'm getting a more Atari Lynx vibe.
Panasonic DMC-LX7, not perfect but good enough to take decent photos if I need to. If I had a flagship phone though it might make me reconsider.
6 inches. Got it. :)
opposites attract? :)

It was a dog...but this was where my love for computers started in 1988.
I had a similar model, the 6500/300 Creative Studio. Man I loved it, it would crash quite a lot though, and the hard disk eventually died and like you I learnt all my computing skills on it - definitely have a nostalgic soft spot for it and Mac OS 8!
Exactly, I hate to sound like a gaming hipster, but some of the indie games have the most interesting and new concepts. I guess basically what happened to all other entertainment mediums.
I too was looking forward to that mobile phone. It was such a disappointment in terms of support. Is it too hard to make the PS Vita into a phone?
The difference is also that a lot of the movies hardly resemble the actual game. I might get some flak for this but I think Tomb Raider was actually pretty faithful. Whereas I think FF: The Spirits Within would have actually been accepted as an OK film if it wasn't affiliated.
and ass?! sorry...
Yeah I think you have been spoilt due to your uber PC settings... Alternatively just sit really far from your TV.
The best thing about this discussion was the fact it was actually mature and informative.
Brilliant game
Definitely, it was ahead of time with regards to online gaming for consoles. Also, the variety of games was staggering, thankfully for others some of these eventually came to PS2. The PS2 was a great console too but I think everyone who owned a Dreamcast will always look upon their experience with it fondly.
I think scores aren't too bad and should be personal. Like a score of 7-10 from Edge magazine means to me that I should play said game. Whereas GameTrailers is different, 8.5-10. The higher scores in those brackets meaning I should definitely play the game.
Totally agree, I use Android at the moment, but am still amazed when my old 3Gs looks markedly smoother...feels like putting on an old shoe or something
Loved the GBA versions of Tennis and Golf when they came out. Camelot did make some fun games.
