I got nothing. I want to mock this but it is crystalline in it's perfect self-mockery. It's like one of those industrial carbon-glass spheres they polish for 11 months in a machine. Except made of silliness.

Funny you should mention Advance Wars: It always occurred to me that there was no reason at all why at least stylus-only games from the DS shouldn't be easily port-able to the iPad.
*We can only weep for corporations so much. Big companies no longer dominate the creation of video games. Freethinking, independent creators are on the rise, and they're making some fascinating games.*
Forsooth.
Yes, because if there's anything the internet easily allows, it's tight control over one's own statements and content.
Argh! Dude that is *chilling*.
Hmm, actually reading before I post would be good. I see now you're talking not so much about actual, honest-to-goodness gaming apps, as you are about this weird little instantiation of them. Yes. I agree now wholeheartedly. That *is* weird. "Yeah, y'know how you all have portable devices that let you do this? Well…
No, they're fine. Mobile gaming will be around long after your $60 (+$40 of necessary DLC) FPS Zombie Yawnfest will be $2 at Half Price Books.
"Would you disown family members who were racist..."
Oh and I say this to/about every 'fertilitist' of this stripe out there but: The 'birth control means not enough white babies' angle is particularly lovely. Santorum is on record as saying this exact thing. They usually emphasize two angles on this shit:
I *guarantee* you this video was made by either:
" Please don't generalize the Catholic church."
I'd go for the slightly zaftig one. Or the 'sporty' one right next to her. Specifically because I'm betting those are the ones you are thematically 'not supposed to pick'. I'm transgressive like that. Plus, just to color this with personal experience, I bet either one is 500% lower-maintenance and 500% more fun to be…
Not an apt analogy, no not one bit. Because religious people aren't victims, they're predators and/or charlatans. Your 'offense' occurs mostly within the context of being properly and publicly identified as such.
*Why is "offend" in quotation marks? *
Wow, how could I have forgotten "Flight of the Navigator"? Not just because it's cool, but because I watched it like 5 times as I was lying there after coming home from the clinic, recovering from multiple deep-tissue biopsies and carcotomies (I had cancer as a kid).
I had a very unfortunate friend who got an entry-level job as a docent at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. She got to spend about 1/5th of every working day patiently explaining to people why the large Buddha in the front lobby was, *sigh*, no NOT a Nazi Buddha.
Show me ONE supposedly libertarian government official who ever cast a vote against abortion restrictions or gay rights. Or against expanded government surveillance, drone-bombing and torture powers. Or against the Border- and Drug-War-Industrial complexes ($300 billion since 2001 alone, children!). ONE. I mean sure,…
