As someone that don’t usually enjoy PvP shooters, I’ve been having a blast with Halo Infinite. Try out the big team battle and just don’t take it too seriously. Grab a warthog, honk until someone grab the turret, and just go on a joy ride (or the other way around). Pure chaos fun.

I only did the AFK farm so I’m able to get Trueno early. After about 300+ super wheel spins, finally got one dropped yesterday morning. Back to actually playing the game now.

Just in time to fill the void from Destiny 2. At least until the 30th anniversary expansion is dropped next month, but let’s see how much content will be added.

You can try getting refund with Nintendo (I assumed you bought digital?), but they usually will tell you “just this once”. So if you think it’s worth it then you should try doing it. Most likely you won’t be able to get another refund in the future though.

It’s like playing Zelda Breath of Wild, but with cars. That’s all I can say. I told myself I’ll do an event, only to get distracted by the scenery and ended up chasing xp boards, while collecting style points (or whatever it’s called.. can’t remember at the moment). I love this game.

I remember visiting Akihabara during my previous visit, get of the train station and peeking inside the cafe as I passed by. I’m not a big Gundam fan, so I always thought “maybe another time”. I guess I’ll never get to visit now.

Where did you hear about a guy spending $16k on synthweaves? That’s pretty nuts though. Holy shit.

Not everyone that works Kotaku will have the same take on games. People are allowed to have different opinions, even though they work for the same company.

I was actually being sincere. I really enjoyed playing the story campaign. If you think you’ll get enough satisfaction from watching YouTube, then definitely do it. That’s basically what I did for Last of Us 1 and 2.

Oh I guess not exactly dead, but when you’re down and just crawling on the floor. Do you think this game is doable as a solo player? From what I’ve seen it seems a game that really need proper communication with teammates to be able to enjoy it.

The story is surprisingly the highlight of the game, at least for me. I highly recommend anyone check it out during free weekends, or even if you can get the game for really cheap.

I don’t even play COD lol (Destiny 2 is my game). Thanks for the brief explanation. That really gives me a better idea of the game, but it doesn’t really sound like something I’d enjoy.

As someone that’s new to the series, can someone help me on how I can enjoy this game? Reading the comments it seems people have been enjoying the beta. I downloaded the beta, then spent maybe 10 minutes (or feels like it) running around without seeing any enemies. Once I see an enemy, I started shooting, then dead

As someone that never really played Halo games before (was more of Playstation guy) I must say I was having a blast. I usually get salty quickly playing PvP games, but I didn’t care as much.

Still holding hope they’ll enable themes and some point. I want my moving head Rathalos to greet me whenever I boot my PS5.

Sony got arrogant... again. They knew they were winning last gen, and now trying to take it to full advantage. It’s a good thing we live in a world with no shortage of good games to play though. Looks like I’ll be joining patient gamers and wait until price drops before buying Sony first party exclusive.

I bought a CP2077 physical disc + steelbook for $10, which is pretty much the bare minimum I’d like to spend on the game. Forget the steelbook, because that’s obvious, but definitely can’t get the game for $10 digitally so far. This is pretty much my reason to buy physical most of the time.

I don’t play Battlefield, so I don’t know if there are any incentive. But people cheat a LOT on Destiny 2 PC because of Trials of Osiris, their pinnacle PvP activity which gives out the best reward. It’s almost impossible for casuals to get the best (adept) rewards in this activity. Cheaters then take advantage so

My cutoff is 60 fps. 30 fps is ok for slow paced games, as long as they’re even frame rates. Most preferred is 60 fps, but I don’t really care more than that. More like a luxury. Good to have, not required.

I was going to reinstall Overwatch to play their summer event. Definitely won't be doing that now.
