Wow this is big right. This means that if you have PS5 digital, you’re completely locked in getting the game, even if you’re okay dealing with the bugs.

I’m really conflicted with this game

I agree that this game is currently over hyped, and I have a feeling there will be a lot of disappointed people next week. At this point I’ve decided to cancel my pre-order and wait a week or so before deciding if I want to get it at launch, or wait until it’s discounted.

You can get the game as low as $25 for PS4 ($30 on PC I think), which is quite fair I think. The single player mode is actually very good, and it’s worth to get it just for that. Plus, there’s more story mode with Kate Bishop’s release next month.

I agree with you, fast food burgers are generally gross. Have you been to one in Japan though? When I travel overseas, I made sure to check out a fast food restaurant once just to compare, and if they have interesting promotion like this (sakura burger in Japan, black sesame sundae in Hong Kong, choco sauce fried…

I pre-ordered mine, but now that you mentioned this, I’m getting second thoughts. It’s not like I have shortage of games to play anyway. Might as well wait a bit.

They are free. They’re basically just intro missions to enable access to patrol zones for Tangled Shore and Moon.

Some valid concerns, but honestly, purchasing PS5 has been worth it just of the fact that I get to run PS4 games with more fps and faster loading times. I tried playing Monster Hunter World (my main game for the past 2 years) and God of War (only played a few hours on PS4), and was completely blown away.

I mean, does anyone actually use voice chat in MHW, or Monster Hunter games in general? For majority of hunts you don’t need voice. And for a few of the hardest hunts like extremoth, alatreon, fatalis, people usually just coordinate on Discord (and even then, you still don’t need voice).

This really breaks my heart if that’s the case. I remember visiting Japan back in 2012, and there were already signs about the 2020 Olympics. There were signs, merchandise, etc. They’ve been preparing this for a very long time.

As someone that was born and raised in a country where pirated game cartridges were considered as norms, I always thought the acceptable price for a SNES game is USD $2 equivalent (I was a kid, I didn’t know they were pirated)

Wow that looks really good! EU exclusive it seems? Regardless it’s confirmed that physical edition will have free upgrade to PS5, but progress won’t transfer. Better than nothing I guess.

It’s nice to have ISP that doesn’t have a monthly bandwidth limit. Unfortunately, there’s no option in my area. I’m stuck with Comcast’s measly 1 TB limit per month. This is one reason I’m sticking with the disc version for PS5.

Well the ultimate version cost $69.99, so the remastered original is just $20, including the 3 DLCs. I wonder how cheap the original is these days, but surely can’t be much lower than $20?

Just curious, what do you mean by getting it cheaper on PS4? I just checked that the price for Miles Morales standalone is the same ($49.99) for both PS4 and PS5

I highly recommend changing your controller config to ‘Mobile’ if you don’t want to deal with custom config. It will allow you to press L1/LB instead of up on dpad to scan environment. This will allow you to scan while you’re moving around.

Same here. I tried the beta and all I can say is that if people are expecting Avengers’ version of PS4 Spiderman they will be disappointed.
