Nope. It's suspected that Microsoft helped him with his legal fees. The company publicly encouraged him to play around with the Windows Phone, too.

Yep, NiGHTS would be a great pick, and Sega could even do DLC for it that fans would want (say, the Wii game's levels).

Yeah, this is a weak turnout mainly because it's requiring that people be fans of both Mass Effect and American football to even begin coming up with an idea. I'm surprised there hasn't been more griping about it actually, especially with the Tebow/NFL focused contest last month, although that was easy enough for most

Oh yeah. I forgot about all the water hose gameplay driving Super Mario Bros. 1 - World.

Mario games have been spinoffs since Mario 64. New Super Mario Bros./Wii were the first time in over a decade that Nintendo released a proper Mario game.

That's pretty much the only reason I wish I had a kid sometimes. I've been wanting to buy that Cybertron Optimus Prime for a long time now, but I just can't bring myself to buy a toy.

Damn, I had no idea he had died. I used to read his website pretty often and post sometimes, too. He had this brilliant article on why comics shouldn't have to share one universe — that Batman can have multiple worlds depending upon the approach the comic wanted to take. He then went into this huge thing on the

Well, you knew Thane would likely die. He was already dying in ME2. Mordin's death was well done I guess, but it seems contrived that he would die curing the genophage.

This is funny, because I just did the same and posted about it just a few messages down. It's tough to get a picture and have it show just how good it all looks. It really is night and day. Makes me wish I still had Saturn Bomberman.

It's a decent game, but I think it got overly hyped based on its smooth (but bland) graphics and special effects. I find I have to race through the early stages else I get bored. Feels like more of a technical demo, like Sega's attempt at a Joy Mech Fight.

The Game Gear Ristar is the only Game Gear game I still own, though I no longer have the system. I don't like how it went ahead with the boring collection aspect of so many platformers, but it's a really nice game. I was happy that it offered some more variety, like the better bonus rounds or the timed segments. It

I grabbed the cable from eBay by searching for "SCART RGB cable" and making sure it matched my system. My JVC X'Eye and Saturn both use a 9-pin cable which is nice; some early Genesis systems use an 8-pin SCART as I understand. Cable will run you about $14. It was the cheapest I could find while feeling confident I

That's depressing. Bubsy deserves to be forgotten, but not Ristar. Never was much of a Vectorman fan though. Always felt like Ballz: The Platformer, and I hated how everything was pretty much green or brown.

It's a great game. A shame we never had a sequel and that people ignored it like so many late games around '95.

1) SCART to RGB cable.

Enough to buy a life sized statue though? Maybe it's because things of this nature are typically focused on men, but toys always sell out of women first. I'd say toy/statue sales sales order goes something like:

Why did they even bother making a male character?

There's the image link above the text field. Are you clicking that and then pasting the image URL in that new field or just adding it to this one? Also, make sure your image URL is something like [kotaku.com] and not with a bunch of garbage behind it. You can also try uploading to [imgur.com] which can help at times

I think you're underselling a lot of the controller complexity we take for granted. Things like camera movement, pressing a stick in, and the large number of buttons to remember and use (16 inputs on a stock 360 pad plus the two analog sticks). Put an Atari stick in front of someone who hasn't played a game, and
