Any one else think this looks incredibly lame, especially for a Bioware game?

But Origin! Nobody on PC is gonna play this.

That's pretty cool... but I wish she would wear something more faithful to the comics:

NGE had a bad ending too, yet you use the character from the series as your logo. :p

You're confusing you and your friends not knowing it for it not having a fan base. Since the characters showed up in Annihilation I have absolutely loved them and my comic reading friends are fans too. The series has gone on relatively uninterrupted, except for the beginning of marvel now when everything was going

it wasnt a popular comic. Pratt isnt winning any oscars, but he's incredibly charming. The popularity is from everyone seeing it and loving it.n just a really fun movie that hits all the right spots.

Have you seen the movie? There's not much to be confused about. It's a good movie, and people like good movies.

Love the costume, but definitely not too happy with the colors.. Why can't we just use the absolutely epic porn costume?

10 characters in the video. 4 are women. One is covered head-to-toe in armor and another doesn't have much skin showing aside from her mid drift. Of the two showing skin, one is a seductress whose entire playstyle is built around 'charming' her opponents. So that leaves us with one 'tacky' design - Zyra. Some

I don't see how anyone can decide that Nautilus or Jax are "run of the mill" designs but hey, hating on stuff on the internet definitely gives you the hipster edge so kudos to you.

This is tumblr nose.

Tumblr Nose strikes again!

To put it simply, there is no need for games to be diverse. There is only need for games to be good. This issue with diversity wasn't there previously 'cause there were a lot more things developers could improve on. Now, not so much, so people start looking around thinking, what else is there? And someone somewhere

How can you have a journalistic conversation on any social topic, if it is lead by people who lack any journalistic integrity? Right now, the conversation is like this "We would not give the option for players to appear as women on other people's screens in AC Unity". "UBISOFT IS A BUNCH OF SEXISTS".

I am all for diversity in games but bullying and witchhunting developers is something I find extremely disgusting and thats ALL kotaku has been doing besides you. Your article is the first to actually take an intelligent look at this instead of "hurr hurr burn the devs for not including women/gays etc".

"Fantastic controls, groundbreaking gameplay mechanics, top-notch graphics, endless replay value. But the protagonist is a white male and the supporting cast lacks a sufficient level of diversity. 3/10, would not buy."

The correct answer to "How diverse is your game?" is "As diverse as the story requires."

This. If your goal is to bring attention to important social issues, you need to approach them more maturely and reasonably than you have in the past, Kotaku. The whole Dragon's Crown debacle in particular was a real shit show.

I for one can't wait for more Diversity questions like: "Why do they let 13 year olds design this game!?" or "Why is this game so sexist for only showing a female hostage!" Really important questions those.
