I was one the first people to comment.. I just thought it was cool that they were the focus. See, no matter what i say somebody has to argue,. Whatever dude, i will stop commenting. You win. Now shoo shoo.

Cool female characters! Why do i feel like i am still gonna hear complaining?

And we kill almost every other thing in the sea for dinner. Who cares? Always fascinating to me how people think killing certain animals is somehow worse.

You stop those feels right now.

It is an accurate portrayal of the time period. I don't know how to help you wrap your thick dimwitted skull around that. It may not be accurate in the sense of the plot line of the game, but it is a fairly accurate portrayal of the time period.

the SETTING is historically accurate. stop being but hurt. grow the fuck up. that goes for any and all people offended by sex in video games, regardless of its portrayal. shit happens. welcome to life.

You're an idiot. He's referring to the time period and how it's portrayed, not the game play mechanics. If you're going to try and make an argument, do a better job. That comment just makes you look pathetic.

Direct the anger towards real strip clubs. I grew up playing gta games, watching campy action flicks, all the violence and hypersexualisation of the 80's and 90's. I don't objectify women, or abuse them, or siply look at them as objects.

This can be weird in its own right considering how much of a time sink open world games can be. But when it comes to a game like Grand Theft Auto that helped popularized soliciting and brutalizing prostitutes for fun, players' and developers' continued reliance on sexualized gameplay tropes can have disturbing

This isn't just a matter of women being relegated to supporting roles in popular big-budget games, however. More often than not, these female subjects that fill out the background of the world in a game like Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Red Dead Redemption aren't subjects at all. Rather, they're built as virtual

Gotta love all the SJW with their pitchforks about an irrelevant issue. I'd love to see them try and do this with Movies and other forums of entertainment.

That's not funny, sorry. It just makes you look like an asshole moron.

Holy crap, someone who actually understands the business perspective of this all!

So we are more concerned with being able to play a female in a video game (where many are first person perspective in the first place).

As a lady-gamer (yes i am game yes i play girl) it might be nice to play a few more ladies! Tomb raider and lolly pop chainsaw get a bit drab (TR is great tho) I don't mind the males, but I can understand that the largest market for games are boys, and to appease the market making male characters is the easiest and

Except the series has starred a Middle Eastern man, an Italian man, a black woman, and a Native American. Sounds pretty diverse.

Oh spare us. Get off the white knight express. Not having a female playable character in an Assassin's Creed game is a NON ISSUE, end of story.

This is a mountain made from a molehill. Video games were better when people stooped trying to inject their social commentaries into them and just enjoyed the game. Not everything is an attack on gender, race, or sexual preferences and and people are becoming overly sensitive to a point where it's almost silly.

What's with all the Social Justice Warriors picking fights with Ubisoft? This is like the absolute LAST game developer that the SJW/feminist crowd should ever be nitpicking and looking for something to bitch about. There are plenty of real issues concerning women found elsewhere.

It gets even better.
