Yeah, the recent FF games seem to have a similar theme. But I think FF really puts more emphasis on the fantasy part. Unhallowed is pretty good. Probably comes after this and Deflorate for me. I am just more the technical/traditional Death Metal guy so I like these albums more. Not that Nocturnal or Miasma are bad. I just don't like them as much.
