I'm going to jump in here and comment on this. I'm always fascinated by this type of response to situations like this. It's always "Well, this just what goes on," or "You have to understand, this is what it's like." I don't think there's a question of people not understanding that this is what goes on and this is

A person's looks are subjective, of course. For me, I think of Jennifer Aniston as being a very pretty woman, but there's nothing interesting or beautiful about her. Marion Cotillard is an example of someone I think is drop dead gorgeous. I don't think I'd forget seeing her.

Well, there's conventionally pretty, and there's stunning beauty. I suspect people forget "conventionally pretty" because it's not all that remarkable.

This is a plotline in Back to the Future.

In Africa; majority of it is a byproduct left by extreme colonialism and imperialism, but there are some cultures in Africa that have color dynamics independent of westernization. In cases like that both western and African color politics interacting could create toxic environment.

My grandmother picked up a silver fox at her retirement village. He was absolutely dashing, as well as kind and charming and handsome and witty and a doctor. GO GRANDMA! She met him at the computer club, and taught him how to email his grandkids, and that was it - love and "companionship" for the next ten years. They

They all kinda look the same.

Okay, did anyone else think from the title that this was a story about pastries being filled with cat meat? I'm suddenly not so hungry for lunch.

"She's also an outlier in that at 5'4" and 105 lbs, her height-weight combination put her slightly below the threshold doctors who use the BMI scale would consider "healthy." She's also below what Weight Watchers would consider healthy for her height."

I posted this in another PSH thread, but I have a friend that OD'ed and LEA did investigate the source of the drugs, prosecuted the dealer and she went to prison for the death and the distribution. So yes, LEA will investigate the source of drugs in an unknown addicts death.

To me there's two kinds of freeze outs: 1. When you realize someone is playing games and is expecting you to come them (TSwift's example), 2. When someone doesn't have the courage to simply say they're not interested in the way you are.

TS: Guarding your heart and protecting your dignity are a little bit more important than clarifying the emotions of someone who’s only texting you back three words. I’ve learned that from trying to figure out people who don’t deserve to be figured out. When someone seems mysterious, we like to romanticize that he’s

I completely agree, light skinned privilege is like this visibly invisible force in the media (happens in music an acting as well) - sure Tyra Banks is black, we have to recognize that the shade of a persons skin doesn't define their whole racial identity and many more complex factors come into it - at the same time,

Yes, she is privileged, despite the fashion industry having a LOT of issues, and it's just one of the many systems in society that promote light skinned people more than dark skinned people.
