I love that comparison. Just love it.

I have a phobia of bees/wasps/hornets. I was in a car at a red light, and saw one outside. I stared at the thing, fascinated with my sworn enemy...
My wife wants this game, and I don't blame her.
But Riot also checks logs - so if you're screwed, you can state your case, and they'll look it over. If you're innocent, they'll rectify it.
1) Regardless of how much money you put in, you're playing on their servers, which means that no, you do not have the right to 'let people know what you think of them'.
Okay, as a (mostly) white male, this article was certainly not for me. I sped through it mostly out of curiosity, but the first thing I did afterwards was send this as a link to my wife so she could enjoy it.
I believe that WotC is hiring Kobold to do the adventures for them, so there's something there. We'll have to see, definitely.
I came into Dungeons and Dragons with the red box set (BECMI). AD&D seemed a little too clunky for me in places, and I was a fan of 2nd Edition - especially with the introduction of Kits. 3rd Edition was a bit too math heavy, I found (my wife hates math, so I wind up doing all the work for her characters every time…
I've got two friends who are autistic. Specifically, they have Aspergers, which makes them functionally autistic. One's an evil CCG player, he makes decks which just completely hose me regularly. The other one's gotten into Magic recently, and she does well enough.
Amen. :) I think a 'live and let live' sentiment is perhaps the most mature way to deal with this, or any, fandom.
Ah, thanks.
That's perfectly fair. I don't see any reason to argue that. Mind, I have to even agree some, the artwork I've seen in the gallery here's pretty awe inspiring stuff, you don't get to see that much in the modern age which reflects that kind of work. (The Dore exhibit my father in law brought me to recently was…
I don't think it's 'in' more or less than any other religion. Err, what's an IPA? Google failed me on that one. I've never had the chance to visit the shrine actually - it's in Seattle, and I live in Canada, on the other side of the continent. :( As for why I joined it? Because there's aspect of the faith that…
That's been a really, really slow fall then. :) Either that, or there's no bottom. The point is, just because someone enjoys something you don't, or just because you don't understand why they enjoy it, or just because they enjoy something in a way you don't approve - none of these are indicative of the "fall of…
Aww, but they're fun to poke with sticks. Okay, I guess I'll stop for now. :) It was fun while it lasted.
"Sorry, I was thinking about Cake is for Fatties." ;)
Huh, never had that strategy used against me. Mind you, I never played it professionally or in tournaments either, so I probably missed a lot of things. I'm glad I got out of it when I did, then. :)
You're right, I shouldn't, your poor little feelings wouldn't be able to take it. I mean, after all the effort you put into trying to delete them in the first place, it wouldn't be fair to post them again. You poor, frightened little boy. ;)
Actually, if you want, I could post it again - it's actually under my records here on Kinja. Not hard at all. I mean, if you miss the post and all, I could totally do that. :)
Eh, Chrome was messing around being a memory hog. Fixed. :) Really though, that's what you're using as your new strategy? That would be like me picking on you if you did a spelling error. Kind of beneath you, isn't it? :)
