My very first thought.
My very first thought.
I was hoping someone was going to post this. This and Chrono Trigger are always the one-two punches in my top games of all time list. Realistic graphics? Who needs them when you have such great character development, memorable scenes, fantastic music, etc. This scene, the opera scene, Cyan's family, the ghost…
This is cool. Though, there are also a lot of protests going on against the Taiwanese government's recent actions to potentially tie Taiwan down economically to China. A lot of protesters got beaten with clubs and arrested at the government's Legislature, and now there are more protests than ever.
Sabin's Fists, Final Fantasy 6
Edgar's Chainsaw from FFVI, obviously.
I never asked for this humor.
It shouldn't. They are the same series.
So... the whole Pliskin thing is just a happy coincidence?
Amy Hennig is an incredibly talented writer. She's in-part responsible for one of my favorite stories ever in video games (Soul Reaver), as well as producing or taking part in many other fantastic gems throughout gaming history. Wherever she goes, or whichever studio brings her in, they will be very lucky indeed.

I wasn't aware Tecmo was working on a new one. I'm glad its got a US release will definitely be getting it.
Fuck this guy.
It's amazing how unmemorable the characters of 13, 12, and 10 were compared with the hot streak that gave us Cecil, Rydia, Locke, Terra, Celes, and Aeris.
I just want a Final Fantasy game, you know, with turn based combat.
Yeah, but those people are playing wrong ( ≧Д≦)
Down on magic? Low on HP? Out of teleport stones? Don't forget that you can turn off random encounters.
Dark Arisen was clearly robbed.
Please stop with the "TAKE OF DEM NOSTALGIA GOGGLES JASON." The game looks bad, as a *fact.* The beautiful colour palette of the original game has been scrapped in favour of bland, bright paint-tube colours. The characters themselves look like they were made in MS Paint. The UI looks like it's the generic iOS default…
*looks at their other work*
An expansive world, hundreds of hours of content, the limitless potential of mods and nobody telling you how to enjoy it. Skyrim is almost the perfect example of a perfect PC game. It's testament to a game's pull that, years after its release, people are still talking about it and exploring it like it was brand new.
