Don't worry about games. I'm afraid that MS pulled out everything they had to offer, while Sony has a slew of first party studios ready to deliver support over the years. Slow start? You just wait.

It's very similar; not in terms of scale, but style. The multiplayer is a destruction derby of free form open world racing, car duels and flat spin competition.
