It boggles my mind that people are so surprised about this and that people abandoned the Disc service as much as they did. The DVD selection is significantly better than their streaming selection and there’s basically no other way to get certain titles, especially on blu-ray without buying them.

Cam Newton is an above average NFL QB because his arm strength and athleticism more than make up for his accuracy and decision making. And because at least a third of the QBs in the league are garbage who have jobs because somebody has to throw the ball.

I think you are an outlier. I also don’t remember anyone referring to it as either the NES or Ness back in the day. It seems like in the late 80's and up until SNES was released most people just called it Nintendo. I honestly don’t remember many people referring to them as NES/Super NES/SNES until after the year 2000.

We don’t hate women, not all of us, we just hate the awkward double standard. Beat a woman at a sport and its expected, lose to one and you are ridiculed. Let her pass you and you get called out for being to easy on them, give a hard tackle and you are bullying. It is a no-win situation for men.

Illness doesn’t make any sense. If it was serious enough to not play, why dress him? Why would neither Butler nor Belichek say it was that?

Because it’s just a “narrative” that Belichick is kind of a stubborn asshole?

Still....you know that’s what it is. Come on.

Counterpoint: Fuck the Patriots.

That “white male privilege” reading of Hereditary is some high-school film class level absurdity.

For what it’s worth, as somebody who cosplays pretty regularly, I think it’s ridiculous for amateur photographers to be charging people to take their photos at conventions. It’s gotten pretty bad over the last couple of years, and it didn’t used to be this way.

There is a way to do it and maintain continuity — simply replace your brain, in situ, piece by piece, or neuron by neuron, even, over a period of time. There would be no point in time where a copy exists — it would simply be your consciousness being gradually transferred from a flesh and blood matrix to a more robust

Yup. Been saying that. A robot clone might be useful to my family. It aint doing shit for me. I still died of cancer or something. Might be useful if i have some project left unfinished, but its not immortality.

Has some use i guess as a walking monument to myself....and maybe Delos is lying and saying they can

I am getting tired of the show talking about robot clones as immortality without engaging in the clone identity problem. If I die and am rebuilt perfectly, that is not immortality as far as I am concerned. Look up the teletransportation paradox in philosophy. (While you’re at it, look up the problem of the philosophic

I assume that the chinese players don’t speak korean, in that case it makes perfect sense. Overwatch is probably the fastest team based eSport out there, so it is a little odd that there are so many teams in its major league where the players don’t all speak the same language, you would think that at minimum they

Elsie is a good stand-in for the audience. She just wanders around confused and complaining about how fucking stupid everything is.

Yeahhh....that was kind of the joke in the first place.

Hiding the card in a copy Slaughterhouse-Five makes total sense. Here’s why:

Yeah, nobody ever got massive shoulder boulders by accident. It just doesn’t work that way - especially for women, who don’t have nearly the levels of testosterone working for us as men. You might develop some muscle tone - whether or not you get the body fat percentage down enough to show it as clearly as a

Holy fuck, this was not a good comment.
