I love open floor plans, but the term “open-concept” as an adjective drives me *crazy*. Like nails on a chalkboard.

This confuses me as most open floor places still have bedrooms and offices and such. My main area is open floor, but there are four bedrooms, a play room, a huge rec room, and a den besides. I guess if my entire house was in one space it would be a problem. But surely there’d at least be bedrooms?
