I’m in the same boat as you, however, I’m sadly readying myself for the reality that I may not be able to get the cars I want with a manual transmission anymore and if that’s the case then I’m getting a mid-engine V8 (Vette) rather than just another FR.

Holy shit, no. You probably think the MKI MR2 was the best looking MR2, as well.

I never claimed to be talking about median worth by retirement age. You were the one who moved the goal posts. I keep trying to tell you I’m talking about the middle class and you keep trying to ignore that and include the entire population.

Again, you’re not talking about middle class senior citizens. Remember, the middle class is shrinking.

The middle class is shrinking, so we’re not talking about average net worth of all Americans - we’re just talking about middle class. And we’re not talking about all of the middle class currently, just the amount they have when they die.

“suddenly found out” implies you don’t already know of this aunt’s existence.

How is reasonable taste in music (sorry, 80s pop DOES suck) even remotely related to choose your own adventure books?

How the hypocrisy would be unveiled if you suddenly found out you had a rich aunt...

So McCoy almost leads a comeback... but he’s not good enough?

I’m in the same boat. I have always found it extremely fucking annoying that they refuse to provide information about each aisle like grocery stores do. But like you said, the re-arranging is so frustrating once you finally memorize where you need to go for what. Like you I try to pop in for just a few items only to

No, they don’t. In fact, many grocery stores try to keep the same setup from store to store to increase familiarity. People like feeling like they know where they are going. If they accomplish this then people are more likely to go to their stores in other locations.

You’re being far too logical here. Join the outrage and don’t ask questions. Definitely don’t dabble in any critical thinking.

Not sure about Black Mirror, but definitely an episode like that in Electric Dreams.

For the sake of maximum outrage, the article implies she did, but it's certainly possible she did not.

People are giving you a hard time, but you’re not wrong that lobbyists are the real problem here. No real change will occur until they are gone. Our best bet is to vote for people who just might eventually put a stop to that shit.

Sorry to hear that, but that’s not really what my response was about. I was just saying there’s nothing wrong with setting up a date via text.

Doesn’t really seem like a big deal to me. Are they going to make a big deal out of this?

What are donks?

My best guess is that it’s a really  misguided attempt at peacocking. So many stupid fads fall under the category of “when peacocking goes wrong.” Yet the fads persist, so maybe Idiocracy is happening right in front of our eyes.

I kind of like it, but I think it applies to both sides. If you are a single issue voter, regardless of party, you are an NPC.
