It’s $12/mo. It would be a good deal without any movies at all, much less expensive blockbusters that people pay like $6 to rent for 24 hours.

Right? Probably one of the dumber attempts at click bait I’ve seen from Gizmodo in a few weeks. People who complain about the content fall into one of these categories:
It’s a team game. It would be an impediment to have part of your team speaking a language the others don’t understand. So no, it’s not ridiculous.
Bravo. I didn’t hate TLJ, but agree with all your other points.
This. I really hadn’t given her character any thought until I read about the harassment. Within one of those articles one of the quoted mean statements was that she was the most pointless character since Jar-Jar Binks... I thought about it for a second and realized at least that much was true. The harassment is…
Nomi was the most annoying character by far.
It felt extremely forced to me. And FWIW, I’m an inclusive type. But it felt like the Wachowskis sold a sci-fi idea to netflix, but produced a vanity project. The forced nature of the show was as disruptive to the viewing experience as obvious product placement. I want to get lost in a show, not constantly reminded…
Before the show started they said we’d probably never know what was up with the disappearance. I was totally fine with that. As for other loose ends, I’m copying another post I made:
Might’ve helped the seasons along, but the ending fell super flat and was a huge disappointment to me. They were building towards this event, with all sorts of intricate, riveting side plots all convening... then, guess what? Nothing. Kevin getting shot in the chest and coming back? Actually nothing special. Had no…
Wait, what? How did it redeem accusations of unresolved plot hooks? It resolved NOTHING. I’ve been trying to forget all of my disappointment, so I’m certain I’m missing like 75% of my gripes, but what’s the explanation for:
A copy of my reply to someone else regarding how great The Leftovers was:
Except for, you know, the ending which tied up absolutely nothing.
It is a puzzling trend.
Yes, they are getting quite popular.
Depends on what you want. If you’re content with a small, crappy screen and poor build quality, $200 is more than sufficient. Personally, I like a nice screen if I’m going to be using it for more than 5 minutes at a time.
Is this the new version of the “no hdmi, no deal” joke or are people serious about needing a backlight to type? I don’t think it would be possible for me to care less about backlighting on my keyboard.
Ignore the dumbass who said don’t go without kids bc it’s weird. It’s not. It’s the only way to go. The people with kids look miserable. And I’ve only gone on the least crowded days in the winter. I can’t imagine how miserable it would be on a crowded summer day.
Please don’t fruit the meat :(
This. I’ve always thought it was kind of insulting to the women who have toiled in the gym for years, eating carefully curated diets to build up muscle mass that girls think bench pressing the bar or squatting 65 lbs is suddenly going to bulk them up. It is extremely hard for women to build muscles that even remotely…
