He should've used a shotgun to the face. Now that's something most Americans can relate to.

Tsk, tsk. If he wanted to break stereotypes, he should've shot her. Now that's something most Americans can understand. Why'd he have to be all exotic and foreign and do a beheading?
Here's hoping Gillette drops Tiger Woods for pirating music to his iPod, and also for molesting sheep. What? I just want those creepy razor ads stopped.
@pourtant: He sucked at all skating skills besides jumping. His efforts to pass that off as some sort of anti-masculinity conspiracy also sucked.
Oy, I hope you all take some time to read the report on "internet predators" from the American Psychological Association:
Future headline: Sex offenders banned from cyberspace resurfaces in real life
@debaucherie: Indeed. It goes back at least a century in Japanese popular culture. Incidentally, so does tentacle porn.
One of the telltale signs that a news article on scientific research is full of sensational bullshit is that it's from DailyMail, or as I like to call them, FailyFail. This Leftovers contain no less than three FailyFail "science" articles. Palm, meet face.
@sarah.of.a.lesser.god (now with more ovumlord!): If it's blocking the link to Shakesville, that's actually a progressive, feminist blog that websense have no business blocking. The other link is to a Universal Press Syndicate site, which hosts all sorts of editorial cartoons, most of them far from objectionable.…
In the spirit of Obama's bipartisanship of unity and togetherness, I propose that we take unwanted fetuses and force terrorists to carry them to term.

She's been a private person who got deeply involved in Obama's political campaign long…
@Amy Schultz: By any sane measure, this election cycle was a shift to the left. This appointment is a shift to the right in a progressive state. This is a disappointment.
I don't give a shit about guns, but her anti-immigrant stances piss me off, and her fiscal conservatism is another no. I am very disappointed that Hillary Clinton has been replaced by someone to the right of her, in a year when progressives are winning.
@Don't Get It Twisted: There is one scene of visceral violence. But you will see it coming and have plenty of time to shield your eyes. Does it make it better/worse, though, that what it portrays highlights an existing problem that needs all the attention it can get?
I just saw the movie yesterday. One of the two greatest films I saw this year (the other being Dark Knight). Slumdog Millionaire tells a simple love story, but with an innovative narrative, twists and so much heart that makes the whole 2 hours riveting. Storytelling at its finest.
A British survey found these to be the most offensive words, in order of their severity:
This is the same argument people make when they say sluts/prostitutes can't be raped.
Vid of weather cat:
That is the third cutest uterus I've ever seen.
The superheroine movies actually being made right now are Witchblade and her spin-off Magdalena, both basically naked women who beat up the supernatural with their own magic. I don't think either will do much either at the box office or in the hearts of feminists.
