Incredible fleet.
Incredible fleet.
Oh nice.
Oh NICE!
David.. I have a hard top and two tone hard doors that will fit your Willy’s.
IMO, keep the CJ, ditch the “holy grail” XJ.
I think the perp just wanted to Caravan with them to SEMA.
What a shame. It’s a downright travesty. Why is a SEMA car painted gray?
Pretty nice Stealth pun there.
Challenger? Looks more like a ram
Keeping it stable enough to maintain wheel contact, while “flying” that low to the ground, seems like a harder feat. Any turbulence, cross winds, slight changes to the airlerons, and your plane-car will go bye-bye.
It’s not really a car in the common sense, barely so in the engineering sense. Nor is it an aircraft. But it’s faster than any airplane on earth at sea level, so it’s not just a car speed record - it’s an any vehicle sea-level speed record.
HAHAHAHAHAHA what? How is it even possible to get suspension damage on a normal commute? This is just horse shit. You wanted the Ford Raptor. You didnt need it. You wanted it. Now you are trying to justify it.
If you’re getting that kind of damage on a regular old sedan, you should probably just hand in your driver’s license. I daily-drive a lowered BRZ with a front lip, low profile tires, and aftermarket suspension on Chicago roadways year-round, and don’t have the kinds of problems you’re talking about. Pretty sure if the…
So you need at most an inch extra ground clearance and some tires with actual sidewall. Look up pictures of a 2020 Escalade, the wheels are huge and wrapped in a rubber band.
By brother drives a dually because he works construction and hauls heavy equipment. You know what else? He can park that bastard perfectly between the white lines in a parking lot. I was with him when he parked and we both mocked all the big SUVs and lifted bro-trucks who were taking up two spaces or out in the lane…
Wait...was someone in opposition to the rock? Pretty sure everyone here, including Erin, is pro-rock.
I love that Toyota is big enough that they can partner with other brands to keep fun cars in production. It’s increasingly hard to make a business case for these ventures, but I’m glad they’re finding a way.
I think it will be more like the new 86: Subaru reliability with Toyota-like power.
In related news, Altria/Phillip Morris just cut its stake in vape maker Juul by $4.5B the other day.
As a Subaru fan and an STI owner, I’m hoping for the best, but definitely leery.
