I logged about 250 hours in the first Borderlands. I beat the entire campaign solo and co-op 3 full times as well as played through all the DLC twice. Such a great game.

Claptrap is fucking awesome. One of the best new video game characters is a long time.
That is total and utter crap. I spent the first 27 years of my life without a long-term girlfriend. I dated and slept with a lot of women, but I never committed myself to any of them for more than a few weeks/months. Sure, I was considered an asshole and hated by many of them, but they knew up front that I was not…
If they still existed, Westwood Studios hands down. I'd say Blizzard. Bioware, Valve or Bethesda, with Blizzard barely winning out. Hell I played Diablo 1 and 2 for a combined 5 years and WoW for 4 years. I certainly get my money's worth out of Blizzard games.
While I understand that she is a writer, she ALSO happens to work in the gaming industry making games. If you aren't playing your own games and your competitor's games on a regular basis, you can't hope to stay in touch with trends and improvements that happen constantly in gaming.
I have twice. Once with CoD4 (after I traded it in, a bunch of my friends got into it forcing a repurchase) and once with Batman: Arkham Asylum (I got an itch to play through it again).
This is the game that got me into gaming. I spent hours and hours playing this game on my Apple IIe with my amber monochrome screen. Easily one of the best games ever made.
Has anyone tried this game yet, either the original mod or this remake? I am intrigued, but I am not 100% sold on the game yet. Is it purely an interactive story like Myst or is there some danger/enemies like Amnesia: The Dark Decent?
It is your opinion. Why would people hate on that?
I have now seen what the absolute loneliest guys on earth have produced. It isn't even funny or sexy at all. It is just sad and pathetic.
I read that as Bryan Adams. I don't even know who Ryan Adams is.
I understand and appreciate this guy's point. I agree with what he is saying to a certain degree.
You are a fucking child. Why on earth would you be happy that a company is posting major fiscal losses? Chances are there will be many people with families directly affected by this news.
Not as bad as I expected, but certainly a tad much.
I am a father of four. My oldest is 11 and she has been gaming since she was 4 or so. My 6 and 4 year olds got 3DS systems for Christmas. They also play Kinect and iPad games. I use them as a great tool to get them to do chores, schoolwork, eat their dinner and other helpful things. Playing games is an earned…
99% of the time I immediately start on the hardest difficulty available. There are a few rare exceptions here and there, but I like to go straight for the hardest.
I have owned two Microsoft Sidewinders. They are superb.
That isn't a lazy answer at all. I have seen what Rocksteady can do when given the creative license, and, in order to make a GREAT superhero game, you need to have people that dig into the source material and pluck out the best parts like a true fan of the material would do. Rocksteady did that in spades. They made…
Simple: hand the keys to the franchise to Rocksteady Studios. Give them complete creative control over the game and turn them loose with a solid budget.
Thanks for helping make Kotaku what it is today, Brian.
