@jace53: I really enjoyed Alan Wake. I was consistently thinking I had the game figured out only to be blindsided by another plot twist. It was scary in a "what the was that noise" sort of scary. The whole light mechanic works really well to create that much needed tension.

@tensai: 20 down (non-burst) and 5 up. I have the best internet connection I have ever had. I don't think I have even had my service go down, even for a few seconds, in over two years.

@horcruxhunter: The "previously on Dead Space" is all you need to be up to speed, but you should really play Dead Space 1 either way. It is a great game.

OnLive is a laggy, buggy, shitty service. When you are paying full retail price for a PC game that barely runs, you are far better off buying retail or off of Steam.

I get a MUCH better portable gaming experience from my iPod/iPad than I ever will on a DS, 3D or otherwise.

I'm sorry, but charging $40 for a 3D remake of a game is flat out retarded.

The graphic novels are amazing, the TV show is superb, but I don't think we need a video game. It wouldn't translate to video games well and would end up sucking because of it.

While I am enjoying the hell out of Black Ops and I think it is the best CoD game to date for many reasons, I still don't think it is game of the year worthy. I have been playing online consistently since launch and it never gets old.
