What is that...?

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HER?! Those cats look terrified.

She's still pretty she's just annoying as fuck.

So much nope...

Bitch please.

Yeah, you're right about that. Still, conflict can be created in other ways. There are plenty of well adjusted people who don't have serious addictions who face and overcome plenty of adversity because the world is an imperfect place. Not saying I want or need to see this type of protagonist all the time. Just every

I think the detectives being extremely troubled or flawed is just part of the show. I remember thinking that about season one of True Detective, that the show was really not about the case at all but about the detectives themselves and their demons and the way they balanced all of that with the job so, it doesn't

But he's charming as hell!

If you're irrational than so am I. I really admire Kathleen Hanna, I jumped at the chance to see her live with The Julie Ruin when they were in town and reading that tweet just gave me all the sads.

That is...so embarrassing!

The funny bits are kind of few and far between but they're worth it when they do occur! It was a pretty good show in the first few seasons but got progressively shittier as time went on. You're not missing much.

How I Met Your Mother! :)

Right there with you.

Did we date the same man? At the same time? Because I swear I had this exact same experience...

Yeah, I get what you're saying and you make a very good point. There are a lot of people that do a lot more harm than a ditzy pop star who probably doesn't come up with her own music video concepts and probably isn't culturally literate enough suggest vetoing them.

*shrugs* I'm not saying I would spend my time writing about it or freaking out about it. I'm just saying if people feel offended by it that's their prerogative and I don't have a right to tell them not to be offended because historically I see where they're coming from.

No because it has become the societal norm for black women to adhere to western standards of beauty if they want to be taken seriously in the professional world. So much so that many places of business require that black women not wear their hair natural or in "ethnic" styles because it's not deemed professional

Right. And black people were like "wtf?" when he did it as well. Cornrows are designed to protect fragile black hair. It's a protective style. It's not that white people can't do it, they obviously are capable, it's that it's culturally a black person thing.

Cornrows are a very black person thing. As are styling your baby hairs to frame your face. Watermelon is an everyone thing but only black people have offensive stereotypes associated with eating it (to my knowledge).

I thought baby hairs were a black girl thing. *shrugs*
