I picked up one of these in pretty good condition, with its nice leather case for 5 bucks at a garage sale. They're old but not ancient, which makes them not too difficult to find in working order.

I thought it was some phone holder tray that you would pan over your notebook, scanning & digitizing all your handwritten notes. It could then also act as a digital highlighter if you ran it over your textbooks. THAT would be cool.

I agree. While it may have been hand-done, it totally looks like it could have been done digitally, especially the framework. They could have just done the buttons by hand and saved themselves 2 weeks of production. The making-of video definitely is definitely cool though, and probably the piece that will get them the
