I grew up in Wisconsin and always drove 2wd trucks and cars... a good set of tires and some weight over those rears and he’ll be FINE.

*sigh* T-bird with independent rear axles, do it yourself gearbox, and forced induction V6. The early 90's did it right with what they had to work with. That was actually a very fun car to drive.
