Steam says I've been playing for just over 9hrs and I can feel I'm reaching the end of the game, however, based on the progress of the story, there should remain at least 2-3 rather huge areas to clear, not including side quests. Figuring it'll take me 13-15 total hrs to finish on the hard setting.

You can check your account for Legacy status, if you have the Legacy symbol in the service area of your account, then your Legacy, would have also been in beta by now too.

No, you had to be subscribed for 3 months or more during the 1.0 Legacy Campaign to be a Legacy member, just having bought 1.0 does not give you that.

You should do a little more research and/or read articles better. You don't have to repurchase ARR if you bought the original.

I've been an Alpha and Beta tester for months now, and it really is as epic as it looks. Certainly though, its nothing groundbreaking from the traditional MMOs we all know and love, but if you love Final Fantasy then you'll certainly love this game.
