I've trained them to get me involved when they're planning their purchase. That way I can steer them towards either the simpler model or the one that I have some experience with.

On every car I've ever had, the analogue speedometer, optimized for the driver's view, has seen to it that my passenger can't see exactly how fast I'm going. If they can see the speedometer, their angle of view makes it hard to see exactly how fast I'm driving.

@TheSwagger: +1. It's the only way to drive.

@Silence04: Yes it is, and after I wrote that above comment, I decided that command+space is easy enough for me that I don't need to spend time remapping the caps lock key.

I wouldn't mind mapping it to trigger Spotlight in OSX, I use that for everything!

I'm not sure how well it relates, but I'd take a manual transmission over an automatic any day.

@Arjun Khanna: That's true, I'd much rather use an analogue watch than a digital clock.

@Kevster: Environmental disclaimer, the pad is the ONLY paper I use, otherwise, I prefer to stay paperless. I'll never print something if I can avoid it.

I use Evernote for long term noted, but for to-do lists, grocery lists, quick notes at the office, how many hours I worked on which project, I have yet to find an app that's superior to a pad and pen.

VOTE: Hootsuite

Apple fanboy haters are far worse than Apple fanboys.

Oh, here we go. The people who hate Apple are even worse than the people who love it unconditionally.

@Xander: Yes, my friends tag their children with their own name, and they tag their pictures of other people's children with the parents name.

@Xander: Yes, my friends are dumb enough to tag themselves as their own children, pets, favourite cartoon character, etc, etc.

@battra92: I didn't say Tim's was GOOD, I just said Krispy Kreme didn't understand the market well enough to beat them. Also, the Tim's locations Stateside are known to be substandard for some reason.

Is this a picture of Bob, Mike, or Louis?

@Joseph Mainwaring: technically speaking, those people are breaking Facebook's "real names only" rule.

@bulljargon: I was thinking the same thing. Now I have to recognize other people's babies
