I have over 4 years left on a 100% renewable contract...at 14 cents for power and delivery charges. Looking at the market place now, there is a 3 month contract for 10.8 cents (again power and delivery). YMMV.

“the opportunity cost of waiting for vehicles to charge at stations”
go fuck yourself with your bullshit numbers.
but, it’s not like EV manufacturers and electricity vendors are going to let us just keep that gas money. even if EV cars are still cheaper to fuel right now, that won’t last long at all.
This is an anti EV thing that AEG’s been pushing for years, even Jalopnik’s sister site has an article debunking this https://cleantechnica.com/2021/10/26/about-that-scary-evs-cost-more-to-fuel-study-not/.
I could not in my wildest dreams imagine a non-dismissive response from you concerning the subject matter.
I wonder if this danh6 character is white. If so he’s not been subjected to the demeaning and ‘looking down the nose’ attitudes of teachers (hell, that starts in grade school for that matter) and overall dismissive tone of professors-tenured or not-when a Black student at said institutions of higher learning is in…

The underlying assumption of this comment seems to be that there are valid reasons to commit suicide.
It’s nice you can so fully see her side and how she was thinking in those tremendous moments of despair. Thanks for letting us all know.
From the same campus that brought you Brock Turner comes this absolute bullshit.
Thank goodness that neither of the nutjobs from Michigan won their respective races; control remains firmly in Dem hands for Gov, SOC, SOS, and Attorney General. Plus, there’s a narrow Dem majority in both state Senate and House for the first time in ages.
They probably force their delivery drivers to do it between stops.
This was a good article, thanks for the detailed write-up! But it sucks that the takeaway seems to be the same as so much of modern life: the powers that be are decreasing the quality of what we’re given, and we just have to figure out how to make the best of it.
