Ahem - real engineers used the 15C. That 12C was for the MBAs

“Museum of Modern Art”?

Michigan fan here. We get the same northern school bias. But we’ve hosted regionals a few times and I find it hard to believe that we didn’t have the same strength of schedule issues they used this year to exclude Minnesota. (Maybe I’m wrong, just a casual fan, not fanatic.) Makes me wonder if there’s not some further

And you’re still replying to the replies? Feeling a little defensive, maybe?

43740 (half) innings in a season

30 teams x 162 games x 9 innings = 4374 (half) innings in a season

Honestly? You’re looking pretty raggedy. At first I thought you were sick. Maybe you could cut back on the booze a little?

My concern also. But this did pop up on the side bar in gizmodo. Still, geez Louise. (how’s that for Caucasian?)

In school I learned that parallel structure helps make thing clear to the reader, so...

Arrange the page so that both gifs are on the screen. Wait until the hits are simultaneous. That’s good watchin’ right there.

Yeah, but how long will they last if you’re the asshole dad on the sidelines complaining about how many slow white guys are on the team or telling your sons to ignore the coach and listen to you?

HOW do we sell these shoes for $495 and still make a profit ?!?!?!

I love the use of ‘architecting’ in this way. I love it so much it was one of the first words I added when I was curating my awesome word list.

Another crack like that AMPis and I’m gonna come up there and beat you with my shoe! (Or somebody elses.)

As the article, video, and comments point the episode had a profound effect. But I also remember how funny it was; of course, in Ellen’s inimitable positive fashion. So many tweaks at convention -from Ellen in the pink triangle lane at the grocery store to Susan (Laura Dern) actually getting a toaster oven from

No. An exponential increase is when the independent variable (in this case speed) is in the exponent: D=exp(f(v)) or D=k^t. A constant exponent with the variable in the base - D = v^k - is linear, quadratic, cubic, quartic, etc.

Drag increases as the square of the speed, not exponentially.

I’m not a golfer, but agree with the “just a little bit” part. ;)

“Photographic proof...going steady”

Huh? What are you talking about? None of this happened. Jonathon Taylor who? Not only did you smoke away most of your memories, but you created new ones out of whole cloth. Cuz I’m pretty sure that you made this stuff up. Unless.... oh shit.
