I’m a boring straight white dude, so no idea if I’m just being a dick for interjecting here, but Poe and Finn in the new SW trilogy even felt like queerbaiting to my normally oblivious self, and I was genuinely baffled/confused/angry that Disney didn’t follow through and put them together because they had more

If you research the actual Stede Bonnet history, which is surprisingly ample online and in history books, the whole gay innuendo really leaps out between the cracks of the narrative. As people did back then (and still do), the gay aspects are danced around and waved away, but there are clear subtext once you decide to

Not just queer (though very, very queer) but also allows fat characters to be fat without that *being* their character or the butt of jokes. Same with speech impediments and other often mocked traits and behaviors.

It does if you are having trouble remembering/processing words and want to limit your interaction with people as much as humanly possible because you find it humiliating.  He also was the only one on the Moonrise Kingdom cast to rent his own mansion quarters rather than staying in a house with all the other actors.

His whole personality changed a bunch once he started getting high all the time. Compare any recent appearance to the videos of him talking about Jon Peters, where he’s a good, laidback storyteller, and comes off as completely removed from the Hollywood machine. Now he bugs his eyes out all the time while jizzing and

I’ve had relatives who suffered cognitive disorders, so I kind of feel where he’s coming from. Once you hear that someone’s been diagnosed with a medical condition which can result in changes to their personality or ability to comprehend things, it throws your past interactions with them into question. You start

I was not really a fan of this movie but boy did I love seeing Garfield back in the suit. His was my favorite part of the movie by far.

As far as an Abrams working on Star Trek goes,  Stacey is a much better choice than J.J.

Oh, and they jumped all over this. I knew as soon as I saw her that, oh boy, the fragile white boys of all ages would be out in force.

I can’t imagine anyone but Stroma in that part. The look and tone he sets is perfect.

Phil Lamarr is crazy good these days. I had no idea he was the leader of the Pykes in Boba Fett until I saw him in the credits.

Obviously, one has to mention Mel Blanc. Really can’t say enough about the guy.

I will always love Keith David’s voice, no matter where I hear it. His performance as Goliath in Gargoyles is iconic, but he’s done so much more great work, such as voicing Spawn in the HBO cartoon and his work in the English dub of Princess Mononoke.

The cast of Family Guy and Simpsons are worth a mention given the longevity of both shows.

Personal/nostalgic/biased: Mark Hamill’s Joker 4EVURRRRRR

Phil LaMarr, one of the most prolific voice actors in America, has such incredible range from Hermes on Futurama to the titular Samurai Jack. And I enjoyed the smugness with which he played a fishy crime boss in The Book of Boba Fett.

While Claudia Black is the actress that I immediately thought of for this, I find myself having to cosign all of your choices.  Fantastic voices, all of them.

Grey DeLisle / Griffin. Hall of famer.

Where’s the love for Elias Toufexis?
