Be careful what you wish for. I’m certain Sims 5 will be an online only game-as-a-service, full of a microtransactions and season passes and everything else EA thinks they can wring out of a fan base they’ve actively decided to hook up to milking machines and take for granted. It will be like the most depraved mobile

I can’t wait to think of this 9 year old bringing in a quarter of a billion dollars the next time I read a heartwarming tale about a 94 year old man delivering pizza to make ends meet who gets the unexpected tip of a lifetime! Or the teacher who is teaching classes online from the hospital the day after she gave

Thank you for taking the time to explain. I can see it now. It’s both immature and in very poor taste, then.

ok, i did the research, and while its till dumb, at least i get context. the actor that makes the joke is a rapper of chinese descent, M.C. Jin. and i think it was supposed to be a “army banter” thing, sometimes army guys do make racially tinged jokes to each other that are terrible but are supposed to be like

I didn’t understand the joke either. I mean, I get “chinese” and “knees” rhyme, but what’s the subtext here? Where’s the implication / insult / racism other than using a word that rhymes with a nationality?
(I’m from Mexico, so I’m honestly sorry if it’s totally in-your-face racism and I’m missing something culturally

Yes, it happens quite often actually.

That’s the biological imperative to procreate. It’s why we “want” kids, whether we realize it or not. Any more rational reason for wanting kids is far more selfish (historically needing more farm hands, or more currently “someone to take care of me in my old age”)

I started telling people I hated the sound of a child’s laughter. It usually makes them back off immediately.

It’s the worst at portraying anyone!

Everyone knows that Canada is just the USA’s hat.

It’s also happening outside the United States.

One of the saddest things about all this is that it’s often framed as the player base being split between PVP and PVE groups. I absolutely prefer the PVE elements of the game, but 100% of the best sessions I’ve had in this game involve other players. Sometimes it starts as my crew fighting another crew and eventually

You ask me, it’s a travesty Kristen Bell wasn’t nominated for her work on Party Down.

The only question I had when I started the list was whether the final two spots would be Tony Hawk 2 and Tony Hawk 3, or Tony Hawk 3 and Tony Hawk 2. I can see arguments for either, but I personally agree 3 is the best.

Just here to verify tony hawk 3 is at the 1 spot, well done Zachary!

So, now I like him more.

I have daughters, 5 and 10. I don’t swear around them, and I don’t want them swearing either (or at least I want them to keep it to a minimum). Reading John Boyega post “I really fucking hate racists.” makes him seem like an even better role model (although honestly, I prefer them to find role models in the people

I remember the developer releasing a statement about how how the massive delays were caused by his severe struggles with mental health and anxiety over his own game’s quality throughout development. Knowing that honestly makes this entire situation so much more tragic.

Ive been doing some thinking on this matter, since theres a lot of rage over AAA publishers all having their own launchers, but honestly, I think I’d prefer that. I like BattleNet because it only has Blizzard games, I don’t have to worry about there being hundreds of games that I won’t even spend 5 seconds looking at
