@wocyob: Yeah, it kind of sucked how our original dashboard themes stopped working after last year's update. I mean you could still use them but they looked shit.

Oh. My. God. This is the new greatest thing ever.
@SliceSabre: This. Every time the damn dash updates my wife shakes her head and says "we are never beta testing anything again".
@wocyob: Themes work fine, but avatar marketplace is broken. Any awarded or purchased clothes won't work. some props work though. I can't wear the Spartan helmets I've unlocked playing Reach but I can use the Banshee prop that came with my Reach controller.
@kojirodensetsu: Too much white is my wife's main beef with it (apart from the fact that for the duration of the beta we haven't been able to use party chat or voice messages because none of our friends have the beta dash).
@LoganR: By the way, I read your friend's review just to see what he had to say. Seems to me his basic argument is that the story seemed disjointed to him because he didn't understand what was going on.
@LoganR: Games take precedent over the books. Bungie doesn't give a shit about the books. Their audience is the people playing the game and if they have to retcon something to make their game work, they do it.
@james-42: The majority of people who moved back to H3 just don't want to adapt to the way Reach plays differently. Think of all the people who stuck with Halo 2 because they didn't like the equipment in 3 or thought the maps sucked.
@chorx: Or just the half made up of games he personally doesn't like. Because any top ten list has to be 100% tailored to everyone.
@diehippiedie: I'll be honest, as much as I like New Vegas, it doesn't have the same charm for me as Fallout 3. Crazy, I know, but while playing NV I just wish I was playing 3.
@sgtteddybear: Ah, well that would be the thing. You can voice chat/voice message other people with the beta dash. To my knowledge none of my friends are testing it, so I gave up attempting to listen to their voice messages weeks ago.
@sgtteddybear: I have the beta dash. Avatars work but the avatar marketplace does not - none of my purchased or awarded items can be equipped so I only have access to default items. Voice messages and party chat weren't working as at 14 hours ago when I last played Halo Reach with a friend.
@sgtteddybear: I'm not so sure about that. The beta dash updates almost as often as PS3 firmware. Still can't use voice messages/party chat or avatars.
My wife is interested in Dance Central, and we're also interested in how Kinect's allegedly sophisticated body measurement system will help with exercise/yoga software.
@hot_heart: Whenever I buy anything that comes in a box, the cat climbs in once it's open. Doesn't matter if the contents are emptied from it, she's in there. Then I move the cat, take out one of the things she was jsut sitting on. Then I have to move the cat again.
@Cr4zYB0aR: Also, rumble is last gen.
@leoblaze30: The N-Gage didn't fail on looks, it failed because it aimed to be a jack of all trades and not only was it a master of none, it didn't quite make it to jack of anything.
You know what? I don't want an iPhone, but this... this I would buy. Just make it a bit less ugly.
@Frank Mahnke: Just to get this out of the way, MW2 knife-nukes do happen. I have friends who've done it. I've been in games when they've done it. There were no hacks employed, no rigged conditions, just a team of players who clearly were not prepared for a knife runner. Were they having a bad day? Were they just…
@Frank Mahnke: The "no skill required" argument baffles me. If no skill is required, technically there can't be good players and bad players. Only good players.
