@Helveteslarm: I thought Mass Effect 2 was Gears of War Meets Mass Effect.

@The_Lone_Rangers: Waggle your Wii-mote vigorously to apply additional lotion.
@FTO_dude: I wear an eyepatch everywhere I go. The ladies dig it, and I don't have to put up with that stupid depth of field God decided to slap on at the last minute. I don't know what he was thinking.
@hybrid92: ENEMY DEMENTOR INCOMING
@marca_64: Except Harry did use Crucio on Bellatrix. The only thing holding him back was that he wasn't hate-filled/angry enough to make it worthwhile.
I played the first two games on the PS2 and quickly realised the games would be the same old crap each year. Wander around Hogwarts, solve puzzles, perform some frustrating steal missions and fetch quests. Why would I invest my time into that?
I never saw the SMB movie. I'll be remembering Easy Rider, thanks.
I'd probably be trying out Blur as well except I won't get the PS3 copy I won from Kotaku AU probably won't arrive until sometime next week.
@Kanji08: But without the lesbian/lolicon undertones, all there was was some girl sealing elemental powers in a deck of tarot cards. BORING.
@No cool name here... Move along: I didn't say I couldn't describe them, I said I couldn't make her understand the impact of the events in the course of the game. There's a difference.
@persona-j: Batman Beyond was completely awesome.
@No cool name here... Move along: Except that I get far more out of playing MW2 than I do from watching a war film - for the most part I am not fond of war films at all. The enjoyment stems from the gameplay and I cannot explain that to a non-gamer.
@No cool name here... Move along: ...wow.
A very well thought our article, and a great point: if we can't find ways to make other people "get" games, how can we share our love for them? I've never thought of it that way before. My mother stayed with my wife and I a few months back when we were both pretty heavily into MW2. She seemed pretty content to enjoy…
@NickFoote: Games have had Jetpacks since forever... you mean like Tribes and Duke Nukem 3D? And where are they now?
@mholm414: Halo 3 is very slow-paced and frustrating by comparison. I didn't like Halo Reach at first but 200 odd games changed my mind.
@larvain: This, a hundred times this.
I enjoyed Hitman. Not sure about a sequel, but I'll give it a shot.
If Valve made Modern Warfare 2 we'd still be waiting for it.
@blackkrystal: Only in the red light district.
