@notquitedeadyet: Same here. I've definitely gotten my money's worth from MW2's multiplayer and $15 more is not a big investment to me. I can see why people who don't love the multiplayer feel like it's a ripoff. Those people can uh... I dunno, continue to not play it?

@Numanoid: It's still deceptive. They're only adverstising it as new maps to get attention - everything DICE does with BC2 is a riff on something IW is doing with MW2.

@Cactuar: I had the same problem, but it turned out I was using the wrong form when trying to log in. I'm not saying you're as dumb as I am, but I'd recommend checking the page over again.

I figured this would happen - the in game tips say the beta is capped at 15 but I got capped at 10. I'm glad they're upping it because I want to play it some more! We should also get access to a new race type at level 15 too.

@carlmarssilias_returns: What's the point? You get one shot whether you fail or not. It doesn't need to be clean.

Sounds like a fantastic game, but I hope the AI are well designed because if they have a limited routine and can't act dynamically you'd only have to play as the sniper a half a dozen times to know who's being played by a real person.

Where I have my TV in my apartment, I'd only have 3 metres of clearance even if my couch wasn't eating a metre of that. I'm glad I don't need the living room from the Natal announcement video to make use of it.

@minneyar: I used to leave my computer running 24/7, and made vsure I opened progress quest every time I rebooted. Sometimes when IU ran out of shit do do online I'd just open it up and watch the bars fill.

@ThaHellYouWant: We have R18+ movies. Some DVD retailers also sell unrated movies (though many movies considered "unrated" such as uncut versions of movies like Road Trip and Old School only warrant an R18+ rating here.

@Rogue Justice: You'd be right about that... I think Queensland was going to try and bring in their own ratings system, but one state getting approval to have an indepenmdent ratings system is almost as hard as getting Michael Atkinson to change his mind.

@Alternate: Interesting idea... I'd probably grab Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain and let the Wii games burn. Maybe see if I can use the time I'm not spending rescuing a Wii game to snag my 360 copy of MW2 as well... or the night vision goggles that came with it.

Well a MUD isn't really MASSIVELY multiplayer, is it? I guess it depends what you consider massive. MUDs I played back in the day barely had a hundred regular users.

@sodafountan: I guarantee you any map packs released on XBox Live will come with a price. Bad Company 2 won't be immune to that - even Bungie can't force Microsoft to let them give shit away for free and they've tried.

@noliferuin: I think if I went into someone's home and he had a room dedicated to his fallen consoles, ranks of departed 360s lining the walls... I'd probably be more creeped out than visiting a real mausoleum.
