The thing is, Naruto is hardly even in the Shippuden arc, even though it starts with him returning from training with Jiraiya. Every time the fighting starts, they send him away for more training. It's only in the last two manga chapters that he's actually gotten to hit something.

@Komrade_Kayce: Exactly. I believe the rule is that it's 250 GS for each DLC pack. While there's 1750 available for Halo 3, some of it's not going to be available until the next (third) map pack comes out.

@Kermi: Damn it, forgot about Left 4 Dead. I thought it was coming out in January.

Fable 2 comes out next week and I plan to invest a shitload of time in it it. After that, we're getting Dead Space (more for my wife than myself who loves horror games and is currenty waiting for our import of Silent Hill 5 to arrive - it had made it as far as the Philippines last time I checked).

@Đipic: As long as XBox Live is profitable, Microsoft will be more likely to invest in it. If it were free, you can guarantee Microsoft would place it very low on their priority list.

@Michael McWhertor: As something popular, Kotaku is bound by internet law to become the target of immature vitriol and unwarranted criticism. Face it, you now officially suck as determined by anyone with half a brain and an internet connection.

@VeNoMmx: So true. They could say they reserve the right to kidnap us from our homes and feed us into a woodchipper. We'd just say "well fuck it, I wanna play some Uncharted".

I'm tempted to buy Too Human because I need something new to keep me busy until Fable 2 comes out and I enjoyed the demo enough, but I feel like I'd be done with it after one playthrough and the growing collection of games on my shelf I paid between $70 and $110 for and haven't touched in over a year is a bit

I like the Goth achievement. That's just... man, like evil players needed an excuse, now they're goign to have the game making fun of them for it. :D

@Certop: A game refused classification in Australia becomes a prohibited item. You run a good chance of customs confiscating it of you attempt to import it.

I made this same argument when I emailed Michael Atkinson about a month ago. His assistant asked for my address so he could correspond personally, but I'm guessing my details got entered into a mail merge somewhere and he hasn't finished writing the form letter yet.

That's it. I quit videogames.

I'd really rather play a new JSR on my 360, as I have a feeling that a Wii version of the game simply won't live up to my expectations. I'm sure the controls would be awesome, but I feel like the game would just be kind of half-assed.

I don't get why everyone is being so defensive over how they're picking on Sony and declaring Microsoft/Nintendo the winners of E3. They picked on EVERYONE. Do you think they're flattering Microsoft by pointing out how they're still struggling to find their market? How Nintendo had basically NOTHING to present?

@Kermi: In total I estimate I have spent around $10k on games and gaming peripherals/hardware since 2002 (PS2, XBox, 360, Wii, PSP, DS + extra controllers + various games picked up at a variety of prices).

I'm 25 and because 2007 saw videogames being released like they were going out of fashion I probably spent about $1500 (Australian dollars) on games for my 360, Wii and PSP. This year I have bought a total of three games, one of which was the "Classics" rerelease of Saint's Row which I got for $25 a mere three days

So, it's Pokemon Snap in high-definition?

I prefer the final build to the 2006 trailer. The colour feels better.

@DaFron: The Band of Bugs demo was good, and based on the awesomeness of Outpost Kaloki X I wasn't going to be set astray by niggling doubts.

I don't understand why EGM is copping flak for this. They don't want to review the game by Konami's rules, so they're not reviewing it. End of story. There are plenty of other 9/9/10 reviews out there for people to base their opinions on (as if anyone itching to buy MGS4 was going to pay any attention to reviews
