LibreOffice sucks. They really couldn't come up with a better icon than that? The entire application is hideous and laggy.

The only thing I would miss, if Google fell off the planet, would be their image search.

And the Gizmodo deals are now exactly the same crap as the Lifehacker deals. They haven't posted anything I've even toyed with buying since Kif left.

Adam Clark Estes is a total dipshit who never knows anything about the topics on which he writes. He's routinely offensive in his ignorance and has no business holding court anywhere other than the Above Top Secret forums.

There are also thousands of "private" channels not in the official Roku channel store. But, yeah, I think a device which includes an optical disc player is closer to the ideal of a media center than just a streaming box. The issue is going to be with the GUI and apps that are packaged with it. The ideal would probably

So you don't believe your app would survive word of mouth?

.AVIs are a dead 20+ year old format that increasingly nothing but shitty PCs play. Join us in the present with MKVs and MP4s.

You can run Plex, PlayOn and MythTV on the Roku and use Twonky to beam/airplay most video content. So the argument that you can only use the Roku with the content that is packaged with the apps is completely false. And unless you bought a Blu-Ray player that both includes DLNA streaming and was retrofitted to allow

They replaced it for me for $200 through their Out of Warranty Repair/Replacement Service. Someone on MacRumors gave me the heads up that this service exists. I printed out the site page just in case,

And you think paying $80 to get something in two days rather than zero dollars to get it in 3 or 4 days (longest Amazon free shipping has ever taken for me in NYC, LA and Ohio) is a good deal? If I need something immediately (or the next day) I can just go to a store and buy it and the tax is a lot less than $80.

Or you could just save up at least $35 worth of stuff and get free shipping, too. $80 a year for shipping when you can get free shipping from the same company is not a deal.

3 months for mascara? I'd have to grow extra sets of eyes all over my body to use one tube up that quickly.

I want that MacBook Air with more RAM.

Is the iOS version updated, too?

Why doesn't Best Buy sell any MacBook Airs with actually usable amounts of RAM?

Seriously, what on earth is 'stay-in training' and why does it necessitate that you keep very close to your bed?
