AFAIK, Consumer Reports cares a lot more (with their points/ranking system) about A) On-Road Handling, B) Fuel Economy, C)Road Noise than most Jeep buyers.

Its pretty common on long international flights ie, London to Singapore, for people to get up to stretch their legs. 14 hours is a long time to be strapped in.

I wear my belt regardless, but I will admit that if you are a wide body, then the belly overlap over the buckle does lead to some discomfort over time. When I unbuckle the belt to get up and go to the bathroom or whatever, the lack of a hard object stuck between my upper belly and my leg or lower belly is noticeable…

Because some people are morons.  Same with people who don’t wear helmets on motorcycles, seatbelts in cars, use turn signals, etc...

Exactly spot on - it’s a shitshow, but it’s the same shitshow all over due to International law, nothing special going on here. There are stories about crew stuck on ships for YEARS.
