also seems dubious...
Please try and not obsess over the future or you’ll be doing that when you get there in 16 years about something 40 years from now. There’s also the not so small chance you wont even live that long. Enjoy today and the time you have because constant planning does not give you anything in return.
When EV is practical and fun to drive, I’ll buy one. Until then I’ll stick to my 911
Everything you just said...I think you are just East Coast me.
Have you considered CPO? I haven’t bought a new car in a long time by going that route and something two years old coming off lease usually looks essentially new after refurbishment by the dealer.
Sadly, I feel the world is mad and just settled on “the cost of doing business” idea of this. I live in orange county, CA. It’s Expensive, people renting pay 2-3k for 1-2brs in most areas. The idea of paying 3-4k for home and car monthly(few others like insurances) is wild to me. We as a HH make good money 200k+…
I completely agree. My goal was sub 500. Smartly/Luckily we refi’d in 2020 at 2.875%, so our Mortgage is sub 1900, I pay prop tax out of pocket(typically covered by our Tax return...yay!) So adding a 500 or below car payment (wife drives a 06 Acura) to our HH was easy. I can not fathom spending what these people do on…
If only they hadn’t taken Mercedes “hunched butt” look and made it visually worse. It also looks bent in the middle, and it’s weird to my eyes.
Everyone - “Affordable decent cars sell really well.”
I live in a rural area with lots of older people who used to use their lots as summer vacation RV lots, the number who live year round in their RV on empty land now yet have new trucks with payments well north of an average mortgage and pricetags equal to or greater than their 10+ acre lots leaves me a little…
Here I was Stressing over a $470 Tesla payment, like chump.
In the immortal words of my favorite hillbilly comedian “you can’t fix stupid.”
Sounds like a bunch of my coworkers. The parking lot at work is packed with pickups of all kinds, including Raptors and TRXs. The majority of them are only 3 or so years old. Yet the guys that own them can’t miss any working days because if they do then they can’t afford the payments. And we’re talking about truck…
This is interesting, and I had never heard of it before. Now, you said it’s both RWD and on the LH platform, and both of those things appear to be true.
I know way too many people
Amen brother. I keep telling everyone that the first manufacturer that brings to market a Civic sized car (or CRV sized CUV) that gets 300 miles to a charge and costs $30K or less will have buyers lining up at its doors. People do not need 0-60 times in less than 6 seconds (many of my friends who have electric cars…
Agree, but I have to add a point.
The do sell the smaller Terra in some markets (middle east, Phillipines etc) its based on the D23 Navara
Actually scrolled down to post this - contrails have been happening since the beginning of high-altitude flight.
