Im not saying Bernie had no idea what he was doing, but he was from a different time

The Diablo was designed by them during the Chrysler era of ownership so they obviously invested in technology and tried to improve quality.
I also have tiny kids and had the same intention as you, but you will eventually cave. My son is almost 11 and is 60 pounds soaking wet. We probably switched his seat to front facing at about 3.5 years old. He was still using his convertible car seat into 2nd grade because he was well under the weight limit. It really…
At some point leg room will be an issue - my little one is a stringbean as well ad we wound up front-facing her when she was too tall to face the rear. With that said she probably won’t be heavy enough to go in a booster until she is 7 or 8.
they might get cool patinas. but my money is on ridiculous. i’m glad i can find out without investing in it.
Narrator: They look pretty crappy new
Not to mention the exploitation of desperate people working shit jobs to keep their families fed and housed while rarely being home themselves.
The carbon impact of a cruise ship is massive. Many, many times the amount per person on an airplane. The average is 650 pounds+/- per day per person. And there are plenty of other ecological impacts, from sewage runoff to bilge pumping to destroying coral reefs to soot to dealing with their garbage.
Plus, is there a coating on the panels that is being abraded off? Even if there isn’t a coating, the surface finish is certainly being changed.
The real point to me is the continued deception the company (because we assume primarily because of it’s CEO) practices on such a brash level remains why I won’t buy or trust anything Musk is involved with.
A manual Carrera T has a 0-60 of 3.9 sec.
It’s obvious Elon misspoke rather than simply lieing. If he would have correctly said 1/8th mile rather than 1/4 mile than there would be no wrong facts said at all.
Would have been even more of a cotcha moment, if it did a 1/4 mile towing an F150 faster than an F150...That actually would be rather impressive.
to be fair, an extremely specific situational test that’s meaningless except for bragging rights is prime marketing to the typical cyberruck buyer
But now we’re talking about how they faked it instead of the impressive feat because they couldn’t help themselves but lie!
I will concede that I don’t give a rat’s ass about my daily driver, so maybe it’s easier for me? I dd a 98 Tercel, so I can have a decent track car.
Looks like fun! In an “watch other people suffer” sort of way.
I mean, have you seen the distances we spread shit out over in this country? Not having a car caps your ability to work, have a social life, get food, etc. in something like 98% of the US. For most people they have to be appliances - means to an end
Nailed it.
And that's exactly why PHEVs make the most sense. Hopefully VW will bring the PHEV Tiguan to N.A., with 60 miles of battery range, you would only use gas on those few road trips. No need for expensive DCFC. L2 at restaurants, malls, etc for top ups.
