I work in Albany, NY - there’s a lot of state-workers here. And it is absolutely hilarious how much of the State worker parking lots are $60k and up trucks, that just sit in a big parking lot every day. Hey, whatever you want to do with your money is fine with me. But buying a brand new truck every 3 years is a

Ah yes, the best part of vacationing. Vigorously adhered to schedules. My favorite! So relaxing.

Oh, absolutely. Otherwise, I wouldn’t know so many people in this situation. They usually blame Biden for it. “Fuckin Biden man, the inflation is unbelievable, and it costs me 90 bucks to fill my truck up!”

I laughed.

While I share your ‘always be skeptical of anything on Tiktok’ mentality, I know way too many people who project a lifestyle they absolutely cannot afford. Friend of mine drives his Ram 2500 that he pays $1300 a month for to his office job just because he wanted a truck. Doesn’t do anything with it. They struggle

Sure, per capita we’ll never reach the amount of people who watch in Europe. But, an average of 1.2 million Americans watched each F1 race last season. And as someone who watches both, Moto GP is about a million times more entertaining than F1.

Yup. Been saying the same for years. And the fact that one hasn’t come out makes me question the whole thing. The idea of halo cars attracting buyers and interest in EV is stupid and nuts. If GM and Ford and Ram could afford all the development and design costs for six-figure halo EVs then they could surely afford

Absolutely.

It’s all smoke and mirrors. The environmental impact of both types of vehicles is catastrophic. Great. So ICE vehicles are a category 5 hurricane and EVs are a category 3. Fantastic. They are both capable of wreaking spectacular damage.

Lol. That’s amazing. If only.

This is the crane:

I guess another recent (which these days is apparently 15 years) development. I saw SWB all over in Asia. But they’ve stopped for a long while apparently.

We’ve come full circle. Lol. I didn’t realize they stopped building it on the Titan frame in 2015. Makes sense obviously to standardize. And I guess now I see why OP mentioned the Patrol. So, I’m an idiot.

Armada is no good though. That’s based on the Titan - way too big to compete with the 4Runner. At the moment, I don’t think Nissan has any Frontier-based or body-on-frame SUV in any of its markets. They have the new Pathfinder, but that’s unibody and not Frontier-based like the old Pathfinders were.

Isn’t the Patrol the Armada?

The ‘millennial gray’ paint color version of their logo. It is boring and uninspiring and will look dated by the time it’s actually rolling out on cars.

Jeez. That’s a great looking little car. The 200hp version would surely be enjoyable to drive. Obviously not going to expect a manual, but boy would it be cool!

It’s all rather indicative of how we’ve ended up where we’ve ended up...

Why my 2015 Forester has an unexplainable and intermittent issue starting that mirrors when my old 1991 Acura Integra when it had a cracked distributer cover and wouldn’t start when it was real humid or raining. Sometimes, inexplicably, it’ll take 10 to 15 seconds of cranking it over to to get it to start and then it

Not just jets! We’ve been doing this for ever people! WAKE UP SHEEPS!
