Yeah, the “career” in GT7 is woefully inadequate. Just a series of totally unrelated races designed to keep you buying new cars.

Yeah but that raises the issue of the Forester not being an SUV. No ‘risk of roll over’ sticker its not an SUV in my book, no matter what the geniuses in marketing say. Just a tall wagon.
Man do I love that in GT7 you can turn everything off and its just you and the dashboard. It’s gorgeous and so much more immersive.
Man, Forza Horizon is just genuinely terrible for me. A real head scratcher on why it’s so popular. The cars end up all feeling the same. The races all end up feeling the same. The locations, while pretty, are empty and pointless. I’d rather just cruise around in GTA5 than play Forza Horizon.
If you’re out there felling big ole trees yourself (the minority of wood-burners, who just buy cords of wood in the fall) you probably won’t want to give up your gas chainsaw.
I do not know what they are thinking over there..
What a sensibly handsome car.
Eh, $1,200 is pretty cheap for 74 more torques. Plenty of factory tunes or power increases available for ICE cars too.
The list of cars I would buy before spending $78k on this is very, very long.
I’m completely with you. Hell, I think there should be another round of massive civilian civil engineering projects backed by the federal government like there was in the late 40s early 50s. You don’t even know how far I think we should take it in my “communist brain.” I think post-high school there should be a…
Caterham EV Seven!
The grid isn’t ready, especially when you pair EV charging with the huge push for heat pumps. But, I’m happy to encourage and deal with any improvement to that infrastructure that is possible. Sick of exploding transformers and loss of power all summer and winter.
Not with regard to search and seizure, no. There are no Fourth Amendment rights on navigable US waterways with respect to privacy and the Coast Guard can enter your boat without justification, reasonable suspicion, probable cause, or a warrant and search it for drugs, people, money, or other contraband or to conduct a…
Meh. Elon is an idiot and the Cybertruck is stupid, but if this is the result after a rollover test I’m not really going to get all ragey about it.
That was my first thought, too. The fact that the cops blatantly lied about this shooting is somehow a footnote in many of these conversations.
Maybe. But, there isn’t. No reasonable suspicion standard exists for the Coast Guard, and they have plenary authority to stop any boat they want in the navigable waters of the US to conduct safety and documentation inspections regardless of any reasonable suspicion. They have very broad powers under the theory of…
Man, not around me. I swear 70% of the F-150s I see are the Platinum or the Limited.
Not a bad business model. Create the first properly small truck in a decade and price it super competitively. Realize that even your anticipated demand is an underestimation, build a buzz. Raise the price to a point where it actually makes sense to build. Profit.
Despite knowing it was inevitable, it still strikes me as an odd call. I have to assume a big part of the reason/money paid is the brand awareness/brand ambassador aspect of it. Hamilton is a great driver, but I believe his best years are behind him and the team should be throwing money into finding the next Hamilton.
