I felt like gameplay-wise ACII wasn't so much a leap forward as it was just delivering on what AC should have been in the first place. I think a sequel should bring more than just what the audience expected after the first.

Yeah I don't get why people love him so much. Part of it was the cartoonish cliches he was interacting with. All of the characters in ACII were over the top. I hated Leonardo Da Vinci and Ezio's uncle. The writing just fell flat and everyone loved it. Ezio himself just seemed whiny, but I can't really talk too…

It would be great to get Assassin's creed away from western history. As great as it is to see storytellers elaborate on historical events we do know about, it's even better to be introduced to something we know nothing about.
