as god as your witness?

I’ll second this and I’m from the murder mitten.

You should see the dress that plane was wearing.

Yep.  I really wish Raph would stop covering the Ghosn stuff because it’s clear it’s not something he’s capable of covering objectively for whatever reason.  “I’m going to die in prison” and “I should have taken that other job that I turned down” are not only reasonable but logically correct positions for someone who

The driver was also spotted:

The point is that we don’t need to be chastised for driving cars. It’s not the problem and, even if it were, trying to guilt people into not driving isn’t going to work. Most people who drive do so because they have to in order to support themselves and their families. For many, it’s not asking them to stop eating

Get out of here with your correct maths. I does nothing to further the narrative.

The United States leads the world in the reduction of carbon emissions. The United States could go to zero emissions tomorrow, and it won’t do dick, as China and other large emitters are increasing their emissions with no end in sight.
That’s not to say we can’t continue on our downward trend, but this constant

If you recline more than half way during daylight hours you are a monster. I actually pack so I can put my hand luggage under the seat in front of me to keep it handy (I knit during long flights), and if someone reclines all the way I can’t get to my stuff without banging the seat.

Which usually gets me screamed at,

What motherfucker ungreyed this racist, ignorant comment?

Demand, maybe?  Infrastructure, hells yes.   Your consumers that want a full electric will trend toward more urban areas.   Unfortunately in urban areas people tend to live in apartments, or at least townhouses, where it’s not practical to run a 110v to the car, let alone 220v or 440v.

Regulations, meaning MORE GOVERNMENT IS NOT THE ANSWER.

Workers aren’t forced to work for Uber/Lyft...they’re doing it by choice and they should know what the costs are. Regulating it makes no sense to me, do the law makers realize it will make Uber/Lyft disappear which will actually take income away from people who rely on these gigs to make a living?

And this people is why we cant have nice things. When it started Uber was a side gig for people that already have jobs to make a few bucks on the side. Then a bunch of people decided to do it full time and bitch about how the system doesn’t work as they assume it should. Uber/Lyft didnt do anything to discourage this

So this is an at-will gig where you pick your own hours, have no barrier to entry besides owning a car, have no interview process, and can quit whenever you want with no repercussions and you make $30/hour. What exactly are people complaining about?

He has a point tho, no ones cares as much about the deaths caused by traffic accidents etc as much as they do when 1 person gets shot.

If this had happen during the Montreal portion of the Rays season, it would have been even more confusing because it would have all been in metric.

“Wow, amazing. NONE of the Citroen trucks lasted more than 3,000 miles and they all failed catastrophically! Congrats on the sabotage.”

I drive that stretch of the road most days of the week. Fuck that guy.
