I don’t get why people like to drink in airports. I can’t think of many places I’d rather not be drunk in.

Did we learn nothing from 9/11? BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS WITH YOU! Whether you buy them at the airport or stop at Walgreens on the way, you should always have something to munch in your carry on. Trail mix, granola bars, crackers, cookies, whatever. Just get a drink from the flight attendant and eat exactly what you…
Is there a space for a cis woman to say, “this is the set of common experiences that I share [with other cis women] that I don’t share with trans women” without being invalidating? IE, dropping the semi-arbitrary construction of “womanhood” while still recognizing the experiences that most (American) cis women share?
So you were delayed 5 hours in the airport and failed to eat before boarding? I am confused, have you never flown before? You could have easily found food to bring on the plane or fed yourself before you boarded 5 hours late. Frankly this story and your actions are just silly and you put yourself in a bad situation…

Going to tapas places with a group of people is exhausting, even without a belly dancer swirling about and making me feel uncomfortable. Everyone wants to share the plates, which fine, except I don’t eat red meat so then I can only eat half of what we’ve ordered for the table, and I end up taking more than my share of…
that some women will be unable to go to baby showers for the rest of their lives.
That assumes the child is making an actual choice and not being manipulated by one parent. In an ideal world sure. But if the parent or parents are manipulators it’s not really the child’s choice.
I’ve worked in organizations with horrible leaders, and I’ve worked in organizations with great leaders.... Let me tell you, it makes a HUGE difference.
I hate those people. And I’m a self-employed person as well, so I understand the appeal/need of making your business look legit so its taken seriously. But just ... no.
I’m of the mentality that companies should be free to compensate employees as they deem necessary.
