Exactly. It’s sounding better and better by the minute.

Question - would you date a billionaire if you liked him but maybe weren’t in love with him but because it was nice to not have to worry about money and have all the nice things.

I believe he was a deadbeat for a long time. He also squandered his money. He’s a crap dad. So, yes, it’s ok to shit on him.

Lesson: If you do a reality show don’t blow your money on fancy cars and houses. Your 15 minutes will end and you will be broke.

Trust me, I think requiring women to wear heels is about as sexist as it gets. My past employer requires it and it makes me want to vomit. I can’t believe he hasn’t been sued.

But devils advocate - traditionally most women wear different clothes than men. They do. They wear more dresses, open toed shoes etc... So the rules are just going to be different. Doesn’t mean it’s discriminatory. If we don’t want the rules to be different then the clothes and the store departments need to all be the

I was having trouble articulating what I was trying to say. It was like a loose knit with holes in it. Like the kind where you would wear a tank top under it because it’s see through. I’m sure there is a simple way to say it but I was struggling.

And if the conservatives were “accurate” they’d have no shirt, overalls and a toothpick hanging outta their teeth. :)

I agree. I live on the West Coast too and wear jeans every day. It’s often hard for me to find something else to wear when I need it.

I agree with that. I look a lot slimmer in pants so you rarely see me in dresses. I think pant suits are classy.

Super cute outfit. Not appropriate for a night time political national convention.

Yeah, I mean I think that looks fine too, but not necessarily for an evening event like this. For a day time job, sure.

But how many male reporters are going to be wearing sleeveless shirts? If they were, guaranteed we’d be talking about that right now. It just doesn’t happen. Wanting people to show a little less skin in a professional setting doesn’t automatically make it sexist. If I had a male employee, there is no way he’s be

Fist bump. :)

Yes, I live and work by the beach but I go to New York a lot. I always have to remind myself to dress up more when I go. If I had to do that every day I would die.

If you threw a wedding at the Four Seasons would you want people to show up in shorts and tank tops?

Where on earth did I say this? Or anything remotely like that? This is exactly what I’m talking about. Putting words in people’s mouths that weren’t there. We have plenty to talk about. We don’t have to make stuff up.

Exactly. Unfortunately there is a little more room for error with women’s clothes so while it’s easy to call it sexist, sometimes it’s just about appropriateness.

Absolutely, but to be reasonable, I saw nothing but a sea of jackets, ties, and shirts on the men. Not as much room for error.

Yes, me too. And I actually run a small firm and our dress code is incredibly casual. But there is a time and place and a political convention is not it.
