Do you plan on getting Guardia, their Defensor?
Still tempted to get Quantron as the Technobots were among my fave combiners. The MP scaled Warbotron one was promising, and has great looking individual bots, but the final combine mode seemed not to hit the mark for me
I always thought Omega Supreme was a parts-formery mess, even back in the original G1 days.
Or a crazy IDW styled version. I actually like the over the top anime take on Scorponok.
It’s a very loose and legally murky game. A toy company cannot patent the ‘look’ of a robot toy, just the name and certain logos.
Perfect Effects upgrade parts, anyone?
Combiner Wars Defensor, has and still looks like hot garbage. Menasor is not much better. Sad one has to buy 3rd party upgrade kits just to see them properly proportioned, and those combination hand/foot guns are useless.
Don’t even get me started on how TakaraTomy can do the same toy with same molding that much better than the Hasbro version, but as a long time enthusiast of robot toys, its ALWAYS been this way, American kids got the subpar version of the toys, all the way back to G1 (those Japanese market diaclone figures have…
To me 3rd party figures are made for the adult fans who grew up with the originals as a kid, but are build to a level of detail and quality adult collectors can appreciate and are definitely not made for kids.
Honestly, given its sheer size, bulk, detail, parts and tooling. $400 is actually a super reasonable price for a figure this size and complexity
Why the hell is this being shared on Jalopnik? Seriously what does this attempted coup have to do with cars?
Christ what a bloated monster.
You can have it, don’t worry, I will not fight you for it
Im using your comment as a launching off point to address everyone in general.
Why would a hillbilly want to ban trucks, your joke needs a little fine tuning
Difference as in how? Is one form of crazy murder better than the other?
Nope the majority of terrorist violence is on the people closest to them, usually fellow middle easterners, often those following the ‘wrong’ section of Islam. You may think they hate Westerners the most but they hate their immediate neighbors far more
Nicely said, well articulated.
I agree, just the overly vocal ones. Many of the ones in the real world simply voice their opinions with their wallets.
