They’re more like Super Spy/digital warriors mashup. Hard to explain, cool series and one of the sentai series that catered more to adult fans who grew up with Sentai. Commerically was deemed a failure because the show focused too much on telling a good story and characters and less about pushing toy products.

Super Megaforce is a really shitty and heavily edited version of Gokaiger, which is a wonderfully fun series and my gateway drug into the japanese Super Sentai franchise

I like how in the Gokaiger ep where they have to fight against doubles of themselves, Doc complains how his Gokai Green double looks like he’s wiping his hands on his pants like he just took a piss and says ‘WTH, I Never do that!’

Agreed, Gokaigers Space Pirate costumes are awesome among modern Sentai outfits and don’t even look embarassing to wear.

Love Barrowman simply because he’s such an awesome human being. Very happy that he gets such a lucrative fat TV contract with CW. He’s worked hard for it (for all the crap Arrow has descended into lately, he’s always been shiningly consistent) and deserves it.
