I think many ppl who buy into those leases either:

Thanks for the info, and in general, the higher the residual... the lower the monthly lease payments, right?

We're equally jaded in Los Angeles/Southern California where an absurd number of expensive and sometimes very rare exotics are just trundling up & down the street daily, sometimes in places like pharmacy & supermarket parking lots

He's pretty loud & abusive in the british show and appropriately named 'the F Word'

Sadly that’s true, we’ve now extended montly finance to mobile cell phone purchases as well, so people below a certain income level can now still enjoy their shiny new iPhone 6s or Samsung Galaxy with payments stretched over 24 months, and probably drop/break it in the first few months of ownership

It may not be new but its also not widely known to car shoppers in the US. Most of us assume CPO cars can only be purchased, not leased.

I agree for the most part, when I got my new Audi S4 for $50k+ taxes I paid $30k cash (some stock money i cashed out) +$15k trade in for a compact I was driving and the remaining $8k or so I financed at 0.9% over 36 months because the resulting interest was less than 1 months payment which I could live with

How did you arrange for your credit union to finance a CPO lease? I assumed you had to do it thru the manufacturers finance co

I wasn’t gonna say it, just let them make their odd-sounding excuses.

If the number of likes really matters to you that much (they don’t matter at all actually) at the moment I have more people agreeing with me than with you. Sorry to say.

Yes, the guy who posts a juvenile ‘SCREW YOU’ gif lol. That’s a clever comeback

Yeah I keep hearing, dyanmically and in road handling, the Golf R doesn’t feel much different from a pure FWD Gti

The V8 is good for making a great exhaust sound....its annoying to live with in almost every other respect:

Next time go for less ‘low hanging fruit’ jokes if you want compliments, not insults

That’s why I said if most of your ‘fun’ driving involves roads that are mostly straight lines devoid of real corners, then flat seats probably work fine for you.

I prefer the most aggressively bolstered Recaros in the ST, but hey thats why there are cheaper, flatter seat options for people who don't like that

If you like sliding around your seat in autocross or aggressive mountain/canyon drives, suit yourself. The rest of us prefer staying secured in our seats so we can focus on the steering and the driving in those fun situations.

Not the most original joke, you can copy/paste that for MB and other Marques as well

Why do Internet weightlifters & bros complain about tightly bolstered sport seats, you want the seat to hold you snug when you throw the car in corners.

Ugh, the fucking VA board of directors and shareholders fot selling out
